As Lead of Tech at Craft It, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and supervision of the technical teams.

You will play a key role in ensuring the company has an architecture capable of delivering the functionality, scalability, reliability, security and performance it needs to compete and thrive.

You will also be a strategic partner to other departments to align technology initiatives with the overall objectives of the company.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technology roadmap for our banking framework, ensuring long-term scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance, enforcing coding standards, and encouraging best practices.
• Architect and oversee the development of applications on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure using .NET Core, EF Core, and Angular.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• Ensure robust microservices architecture aligned with clean code and DDD principles.
• Establish and enforce a secure development lifecycle, including threat modeling, security reviews, and penetration testing.
• Collaborate with the Product team to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead technical evaluations (PoCs) to validate new approaches.
• Ensure the performance and reliability of database solutions (SQL Server), including data consolidation and transformation.
• Drive a culture of automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) to ensure software quality.
• Define and enforce cloud governance policies (cost management, access management, resource tagging, etc.)
• Conduct regular technology reviews to ensure compliance with banking regulations (GDPR, PSD2, ISO27001, etc.)

Hard Skills

• Expertise in C#/.NET Core and modern frontend technologies (TypeScript/Angular)
• Strong experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Docker & Kubernetes in Azure.
• Proficiency with QL Server and experience in data transformation (JSON, XML).
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps (Azure DevOps, SonarQube, security scanning).
• Experience with secure coding practices and financial data protection.
• Ability to balance innovation and delivery constraints in an R&D context.
• Previous experience in a regulated environment (banking/finance/insurance) is a strong plus

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a technical role, with preferably 3 years of experience in technical team management.
• Strong expertise in software architecture, product development and cloud systems management (AWS).
• Ability to lead teams in Agile development environments.
• Experience in managing complex technical projects and defining long-term development strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship management skills.
• Leadership, initiative and the ability to inspire and unite around a technological vision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. French is a plus.
