The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who’s passionate about building high-performance, scalable web applications using Node.js and React. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Duco’s Intelligent Document Processing platform, a cutting-edge AI-driven SaaS product that automates data extraction and processing for some of the world’s largest financial institutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Designing and building new features and maintaining existing ones using the following tech stack: React, Node.js, TypeScript, Apollo (GraphQL), NestJS, Express, Mocha, Playwright
  • Ensuring the code you and your team deliver is supportable and highest quality
  • Performing code reviews for others, and having your code reviewed by your peers
  • Working closely with Machine Learning, Product, and DevOps to understand customers, and scope out work to deliver the best quality solutions

We are looking for someone with:

  • A Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or any related field
  • 4-5+ years of professional experience in developing full stack applications.
  • Expert knowledge and practical experience in using the following tech stack: Typescript, React and Node.js
  • Good experience with writing performant queries for MongoDB or other unstructured databases
  • Previous experience with Git / Git Flow
  • Great communication skills and fluency in English
  • Working experience with any of the following AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, GraphQL/Apollo, Redis, WebSockets, and subscriptions is considered as a plus

Nice to Haves:

  • Fluency in Dutch is beneficial
