Professional Services Implementation Consultant
Sales & Business Development
Antwerp, Belgium
The Role
As an Implementation Consultant you will be at the heart of delivering Duco’s intelligent document processing and data reconciliation solutions to our clients. You will work closely with Project Managers and clients to understand their requirements, configure the Duco platform, and guide the iterative training of our ML models until they deliver real, measurable value.
You will engage directly with both financial and non-financial clients, bringing a consultative mindset to every engagement. You will lead pre-scoping exercises, translate client needs into technical solutions, and own the hands-on configuration and implementation work. You are equally comfortable discussing data models with engineers, solution consultants and project managers.
Our Antwerp office is at the forefront of some of Duco’s most leading-edge ML driven intelligent document processing solutions. This role is based there to benefit from close collaboration with our specialist local team, while also contributing as a key member of the Global Professional Services organisation.
What you will be working on
- Conducting pre-scoping exercises with clients to understand their data, processes, and business requirements
- Hands-on configuration of the Duco platform, including defining extraction logic, business rules, and output mappings
- Iterative training and validation of ML models to continuously improve accuracy and coverage for client use cases
- Collaborating with client-side engineers and our own engineering team on custom integrations and bespoke configuration
- Supporting Project Managers with technical input on planning, scoping, and change management throughout the project lifecycle
- Acting as a trusted advisor and ambassador for Duco, collecting client feedback that influences our product roadmap
Ideally, you will have:
- Up to 5 years experience
- Proven ability to conduct requirements workshops and translate unstructured client needs into clear technical specifications
- Experience managing client relationships, running workshops and demos, and communicating clearly with both technical and business stakeholders
- Strong understanding of data structures, data models, and data transformation concepts — able to reason about what a system can and cannot consume or produce
- Hands-on experience configuring or implementing SaaS platforms, ideally in a Professional Services or consultancy setting
- Experience working with AI or ML-driven solutions, including model training, validation cycles, and iterative improvement workflows
- Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
We are looking for someone with:
- Solid grasp of software systems, APIs, and integrations — you can read a script and hold a meaningful technical conversation
- Strong data literacy: comfortable with schemas, data flows, and refining data models against platform constraints
- Consultative client approach — you ask sharp questions, challenge assumptions, and guide clients to practical solutions
- Able to juggle multiple engagements, prioritise, and escalate blockers early
- Team-first: works closely with PMs, engineers, CS, AMs, and sales to deliver outcomes
Nice to Haves:
- Background in machine learning, NLP, or computer vision — particularly relevant to document understanding use cases
- Scripting ability in Python or another language, enabling you to prototype small data transformations or validate logic independently
- Familiarity with the financial services industry, particularly back- and middle-office operations, reconciliation, or document-heavy processes
Benefits:
- Competitive salary package aligned with your skills and experience, reviewed annually
- Performance-based bonus payments
- Group life insurance and pension plan by AXA
- Hospitalisation Insurance by ALAN (Delight Programme)
- Company car or tax-free mobility budget
- Enhanced family leave provisions
- Unlimited annual holiday, because we trust our people to manage their own time off
- Company phone and subscription by Orange
- Lunch allowance (meal vouchers)
- 4 volunteering days off
- Flexible working policy (2–3 days per week in office)
- Opportunity to work abroad for up to 6 weeks per year
- Personal learning and development opportunities (annual dedicated budget)
