🚀 Be part of a movement to change the way Europe pays
In today’s digital Europe, payments still feel too complicated. Random delays, confusing rules, extra apps and accounts make it harder than it should be to pay and get paid.
The European Payments Initiative is changing that with Wero, a proudly European digital wallet to make payments easier, clearer and more secure. Online, in store, at home and across borders, with your money and data protected under European laws and regulations.
Wero is live in Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands and launching very soon in Luxembourg and Austria. Backed by 17 major banks and the two largest European acquirers, we’re building a brand new, proudly European payment system.
🔎 What's in it for you
Tired of operating in organisations where Product, Engineering and Design work in silos? At EPI, you'll help shape how teams collaborate across an entire European fintech from the ground up.
At EPI, we embrace a remote-first culture, enabling our teams to work remotely from the country they are based in, with in-person meetings at least once a quarter to foster collaboration and connection.
🐝 About the team
You'll join the Product, Engineering & Experience (PEX) organisation, working closely with the Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) and the leadership team across Product Management, Engineering and Design.
As our Product Operations Manager, you'll act as the connective tissue across teams, helping establish scalable operating models, governance frameworks, reporting, and knowledge management practices that enable hundreds of initiatives to move efficiently across the organisation.
You will collaborate daily with Product Directors, Engineering Managers, Designers and senior stakeholders across EPI while contributing to the continuous evolution of our Product, Engineering & Experience organisation as we scale Wero across Europe.
💥 Your impact
Design, implement and continuously improve the operating model for Product, Engineering and Design to enable efficient collaboration at scale.
Define and optimise key operational processes such as planning, governance, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and cross-functional ways of working.
Identify organisational bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives that increase delivery effectiveness across PEX.
Establish and maintain an operational KPI framework that provides visibility into performance, delivery health and organisational effectiveness.
Build dashboards, reporting and operational insights that support data-driven decision-making across leadership teams.
Create a scalable knowledge management framework, including governance of Confluence, documentation standards, playbooks and templates.
Support strategic planning, executive communication and cross-functional initiatives on behalf of the CPTO and PEX leadership team.
Drive organisational alignment and execution across multiple teams in a fast-growing and evolving environment.

Microsoft 365
Looker, Power BI or similar reporting platforms
SQL and data analysis tools
Product analytics and KPI dashboards

🪜 If this looks like you, the recruitment steps are:
A first call with one of our recruiters
A team interview focused on Product Operations, operational excellence and stakeholder management
A final interview with our CPTO
Hopefully, an offer you can’t refuse
⛔ Turn back if …
You're looking for a highly structured environment where every process already exists.
You prefer focusing on your own team rather than enabling collaboration across multiple functions.
