We are seeking highly skilled and mid-level experienced AccountingOps Specialists with a strong background in financial operations, accounting processes, and reconciliation management. As an AccountingOps Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial transactions, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring accurate financial records. We are looking for someone with a strong analytical mindset, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced fintech environment. Fluency in Turkish and English is essential, as you will collaborate with teams and clients globally.

What Will The Right Person Look Like?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial operations, preferably in banking, fintech, or SaaS-based financial services.
  • Strong background in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and operational payments.
  • Experience with Mikro and Parachut accounting software.
  • Understanding of financial regulations, reconciliation methods, and multi-currency operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Turkish and English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.

What Will You Be Doing?

1. Bank Reconciliations & Cash Flow Management

  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in bank statements and financial records.
  • Maintain cash flow reports and forecast short-term liquidity needs.
  • Ensure timely fund transfers and execution of internal and external payments.
  • Coordinate with financial institutions for banking transactions and operational financing needs.

2. Accounts Receivable – Tracking & Managing Incoming Payments

  • Issue and track invoices for customers and partners, ensuring timely payments.
  • Maintain and update the aging report for outstanding receivables.
  • Follow up on overdue payments and manage the collection process.
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Reconcile incoming payments with invoices and financial records.

3. Accounts Payable – Issuing, Tracking & Executing Payments

  • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely, accurate payments.
  • Manage execution of payments for subscriptions, licenses, and operational services.
  • Track and process all operational payments, including vendor payments, payroll reimbursements, and other business-related expenses.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to ensure no outstanding dues or discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory payment processing guidelines.

4. Operational & Financial Execution

  • Oversee the execution of domestic and international transactions.
  • Ensure correct processing of payments, fund transfers, and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with banking partners to ensure smooth transaction processing.
  • Support treasury functions by optimizing payment schedules and cash disbursements.

5. General Accounting & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing.
  • Prepare financial reports on cash flow, receivables, payables, and operational payments.
  • Provide support for audits and compliance reporting.
