We are in search of a Software Architect to spearhead the technical vision and execution of our Loan Management Suite. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of loan lifecycle processes, and who can lead a cross-functional development team in building scalable, compliant, and high-performing loan products.

What Will The Right Person Look Like?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or tech lead role
  • Proven experience in loan management systems (consumer loans, BNPL, SME financing, etc.)
  • Proficiency in .NET Core, REST APIs, microservices, and relational databases
  • Deep understanding of loan origination, underwriting, disbursement, repayment, and restructuring processes
  • Experience in designing scalable architectures and driving technical decision-making
  • Ability to collaborate closely with product managers, QA, and DevOps teams
  • Strong communication skills to mentor developers and align technical vision with business goals
  • Experience in agile environments, delivering continuously and iteratively

Prior exposure to cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD practices is a plus

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Lead the design, development, and enhancement of Fimple’s Loan Management Suite
  • Own the technical architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability
  • Collaborate with business and product stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Guide the development team, perform code reviews, and enforce best practices
  • Monitor system performance and proactively resolve technical bottlenecks
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial standards in software implementation
