We are looking for a Business Analyst with hands-on banking experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements. As a Business Analyst at Fimple, you will work closely with product, engineering, and customer teams to ensure the successful delivery of financial modules across our platform. This role requires working hybrid with two days per week in the office, collaborating closely with stakeholders in a fast-paced product organization.
QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Business Analyst or a similar role in the banking or financial services industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, or Engineering
- Experience in one or more banking domains such as Loans, Accounts, Core Banking, Transfers, or Treasury.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, workflows, and regulatory expectations.
- Ability to gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specs.
- Strong business analysis and reporting skills to lead SIT, UAT, and assisting hypercare processes.
- Experience in UAT planning and execution, training activities, and user enablement.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and a user-centric mindset. (Figma knowledge is a plus)
- Experience on Postman, SoapUI and Swagger is a plus.
- Experience using tools like Azure devops, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Familiar with SDLC and agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and structured thinking.
- Ability to work collaboratively across business and technical functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional fluency in English is a strong plus.
- Ability to work onsite 2 days per week for workshops, sprint planning, and stakeholder interactions.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end business analysis lifecycle including process mapping, gap analysis, acceptance criteria development, and solution validation.
- Manage, develop, and document workflows and business rules
- Analyse existing banking processes and propose optimized workflows aligned with Fimple’s composable architecture.
- Support design workshops, process walkthroughs, and UAT activities, coordinating closely with key users and cross-functional teams.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive documentation including user stories, BRDs, FRDs, acceptance criteria user guides, training materials, etc.
- Act as a bridge between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity
- Participate in when necessary daily stand-ups, grooming sessions, release planning, and retrospectives meetings.
- Support the execution of functional and user acceptance testing
- Support incident resolution, by analyzing root causes and following up with internal development for timely fixes.
- Provide internal and external training on new features and functionalities where needed.
- Perform impact analysis and contribute to change management and user enablement activities to ensure seamless adoption of new functionalities.
