Fimple is a fintech startup offering modular core banking solutions to banks, with a focus on mid-tier, digital-only, Islamic banks, fintechs, and NBFIs in the MENA region.

We are expanding in the GCC and are seeking a dynamic Gulf Sales Director to lead our sales efforts and grow our market presence. Our product suite also includes BaaS and front-end channels.

Role Overview

The Gulf Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing Fimple’s sales strategy across the Gulf region, with a primary focus on fintech companies and non-banking financial institutions in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the wider GCC.
The role will drive business growth by building and managing strategic relationships within the fintech ecosystem and ensuring the successful adoption of Fimple’s solutions by these organizations across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a sales strategy for the Gulf region to drive revenue and market share.
  • Business Development: Identify and engage potential clients across the GCC, focusing on our ideal customer profile (ICP).
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales process, ensuring that sales targets are met and tracked using HubSpot CRM for accurate reporting and management.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Market Insights: Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to adjust Fimple’s offerings accordingly.
  • Team Leadership: Scale and manage the local sales support team to drive sales efforts and ensure success.
  • Collaboration: Align with marketing, product, and customer success teams for consistent messaging and customer experience.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and progress updates to leadership, leveraging HubSpot’s analytics tools to track pipeline health and performance.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong core banking domain expertise and deep understanding of the GCC market, particularly in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell complex solutions to banks and fintechs in the region.
  • Familiarity with SaaS sales models and long sales cycles.
  • Proven experience generating and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Experience in building GTM and scaling sales support teams at a SaaS scaleup.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across the GCC.
