Join our Financial Crime Product Development team as a Software Developer or Senior Software Developer (Java). Our platform helps financial institutions secure and understand transactions at scale, enabling them to detect, investigate, and prevent financial crime.

You’ll work within an autonomous agile scrum team, tackling complex engineering challenges across a large-scale, enterprise-grade platform. This role offers real ownership: designing, building, and evolving high-impact features that process and analyse vast volumes of transactional data. You’ll collaborate closely with experienced engineers who value clean design, thoughtful problem-solving, and technical excellence.

The level (Software Developer or Senior Software Developer) will be determined based on experience, technical depth, and scope of impact.

About You

• You have experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems in production environments.
• You’re comfortable working independently, driving investigations from problem discovery through to robust, long-term solutions.
• You bring strong analytical thinking, with a focus on identifying root causes rather than surface-level fixes.
• You enjoy learning new technologies and solving real-world problems, particularly where scale, performance, and reliability matter.
• You’ve worked in agile development environments and value clear communication and collaborative ways of working.
• You primarily work in Java, and are open to using other languages such as Python and TypeScript where appropriate.
• You have experience with, or interest in working with, technologies and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, Apache Spark, Kafka Streams, Kubernetes, Docker, Elasticsearch, StarRocks, and Grafana.
• You’re curious about modern development tooling, including emerging AI-assisted coding tools.
