Job description

As a Payroll Specialist for Isabel Group you are responsible for the day-to-day payroll activities (white collar & executives) in Belgium & France.

You will work side by side with the Payroll Manager and together you will also manage all HR Administration topics and serve as a reference person for all Payroll - Comp & Ben related questions.

You will be part of the HR-team, consisting of 3 HR Business Partners, 2 Talent Acquisition Specialists, a Payroll Manager and CHRO, and are encouraged to participate in diverse HR Projects.

Your role:

  • Calculating & paying wages and premiums correctly and on time, in cooperation with our social secretary (SD Worx)
  • Co-act as the point of contact for any inquiries about the payroll and HR administrative related concerns for all employees
  • Advising HR & management regarding labour law, social & tax laws and regulations in order to improve our best practices and take initiatives where possible
  • Playing a part in the introduction of new staff (explaining the house rules, procedures, and the use of HR applications, etc.)
  • Maintaining existing personnel management systems to ensure that we have correct and full information for all types of contracts (interim, employee, contractors)
  • Liaising with Insurances on affiliations, set up & maintain personal contributions in payroll
  • Ensuring the preparation of employment contracts and amendments to the employment contracts
  • Supporting in continuously improving digital procedures, tools, internal forms, etc. according to social and fiscal regulations to guarantee an efficient management of personnel administration
  • Supporting in implementing various projects within specific HR fields

Requirements

You have:

  • A proven track record of at least 3 years as a Payroll Specialist (calculating & paying wages and premiums on time)
  • Excellent knowledge of Belgian social and labor legislation & Belgian taxation regulations regarding wages
  • Good knowledge of payroll Software (eBlox HR & eBlox Payroll are an asset)
  • Strong time management / accuracy
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Mathematical & analytical mind
  • Strong communication skills at different levels: external partners, internal clients & stakeholders
  • The strength to take full ownership over your scope

  • A drive to deliver
  • An understanding of agile way of working
  • Fluency in Dutch/French and English.
