Let’s shape the future of finance - together

At Isabel, we believe that real innovation happens when people and ideas connect

That’s why we’re building more than technology, we’re building an ecosystem.

One where every voice counts, and where your work can truly make a difference.

We’re looking for curious minds and collaborative builders. People who believe success means growing together, learning from each other, and challenging the status quo.

If that sounds like you, keep reading.

What you’ll do

You’ll need to thrive in mastering complex projects with high visibility; you’ll be steering the KUBE project consisting of different tracks or sub-projects, including, but not limited to the core common product components, the integration tracks with banks, the contractual, legal, migration and transition tracks.

This means creating a way forward with multiple high-level stakeholders with overarching responsibilities in a complex technological environment.

You will be responsible for managing the time, scope, and budget but most of all the business outcome of the projects and will have to proactively drive the different stakeholders to achieve expected results.

  • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Translate business needs into actionable project plans aligned with strategic goals.

  • Manage demand, governance, and supply to keep all stakeholders aligned on their responsibilities in delivering the project.

  • Lead project execution and coordinate delivery activities across all involved teams.

  • Assess and manage the risks and incidents related to the delivery of your project and sub- projects and solve issues quickly and efficiently to limit the impact and/or risks.

  • Prevent scope creep by enforcing a clear ‘change management process’.

  • Be on top of each track to be able to properly report on progress, KPI’s, decision taking and drive Steerco for appropriate information & decision processes.

  • Actively contribute to the realization of the project, propose adequate solutions to unlock bottlenecks, supervise, and validate every aspect of the projects to have them meet the organizational requirements, in line with the methodology and the quality standards agreed amongst stakeholders.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration to maintain a good relationship with all internal and external stakeholders concerned.

  • Report to stakeholders such as Steerco, Executive Sponsors, Isabel Mgt & Board.

What makes you a great fit

You’ll have to combine strong Project Management skills, product knowledge and strong stakeholder management to be able to meet business objectives and customer expectations.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration).

  • At least 10 years of experience as a customer facing program or project manager for large and complex ICT projects, preferably in financial or telco sector.

  • A certification as project manager of an industry recognized organization (Prince2, PMI, …).

  • Good command of English & Dutch or French (both written and spoken).

  • Proven experience in driving complex projects/programs and rescuing difficult projects.

  • Previous experience within highly regulated industries (banks, telco’s, insurance, …) and/or closely scrutinized projects (EU-commission, NATO, …).

  • At ease in driving teams under indirect supervision.

  • Decisive

  • Negotiating skills: experience in both internal and client-facing environments.

  • Excellent communication tailored to diverse audiences (technical, executive, client).

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and expectation management.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and organizational change.
