At kennek, we’re on a mission to modernise the $2 trillion private lending industry.
We’re determined to help lenders digitise their business and automate their operations with the lending toolkit of the future: a vertical SaaS for all types of lenders. By doing so, we revolutionise the sector at its core and we create efficiencies for lenders and also for borrowers, credit investors and ultimately for the entire eco-system.
We launched in the summer of 2021 and have since grown our team to about 20 kennekters, mostly in London. Our customer base is expanding rapidly & we’ve got some world-class venture capital investors backing us.
🧠 Background
For the past decades, increasing regulatory pressures on banks have reduced their lending to the real economy, especially to small & medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
Many ‘non-bank lenders’ such as specialist lending companies and credit funds have filled the void. However, most of these lenders operate in an old-fashioned way. Data is not connected or centralised. Workflows are manual and usually time-consuming, costly and prone to human error.
This is where kennek comes in.
We’ve created a vertically integrated SaaS that streamlines and automates operations of lenders, bringing together all the lending calculations, operations and workflows onto a single user-friendly platform.
The kennek systems captures all the data relating to the loans and borrowers and serves as single point of truth for the lenders and ultimately for the entire eco-system.
💼 The Role
We are looking for a high-energy, hunter-minded Account Executive to drive new business acquisition at kennek. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building pipeline, creating opportunities, and winning new logos in a fast-paced fintech SaaS environment. You’ll be on the front lines of our growth, working closely with the sales and marketing team, and leadership to identify, pursue, and close deals with lenders.
🔎 Who you are
- 2–10 years of (SaaS) sales experience, with a strong preference for fintech, financial services, or credit markets
- Proven hunter mentality — you love prospecting, opening doors, and creating new opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed new business quotas
- Excellent communication and pitching skills, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers
- Resilient, resourceful, and motivated by competition and results
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deals and priorities simultaneously
Ideal Background
- Past sales experience in SaaS, fintech, property finance, bridging, and development, ideally gained as a broker, BDM, or within a lender.
- Understanding of the lending ecosystem, including brokers, lenders, and developers
- Ability to leverage domain expertise and networks in alternative finance to accelerate pipeline building
Nice to Have
- Existing network in fintech, lending, or banking
- Experience with sales tools (HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Knowledge of credit workflows or loan management software

- Proactively prospect and generate your own pipeline through outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, events)
- Qualify inbound leads and move them quickly through the funnel
- Deliver engaging, consultative product demos that address client needs
- Manage the full sales cycle from discovery to close, with a strong focus on speed and execution
- Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly new business targets
- Collaborate with sales and marketing team to test outbound campaigns and messaging
- Act as a market expert, identifying new opportunities and feeding insights back to the team
