We are looking for a Business Developer (M/F/X) to join our Sales Team in Belgium.

Your role

As a Business Developer, you identify key prospects, whether large corporations or SMEs. Your main responsibilities include:

• Building targeted lists of potential prospects to contribute to the company’s growth;
• Promoting various tax incentive schemes such as the IP-Box or grants across a wide range of sectors: industry, aerospace, IT, agri-food, hospitals, universities, etc.;
• Identifying and analyzing innovative projects from prospects in order to propose tailored optimization solutions;
• Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract signing, with both prospects and existing clients;
• Building and maintaining client relationships through various channels (emailing, LinkedIn, professional networks, etc.);
• Developing positive relationships with clients and colleagues;
• Gaining in-depth knowledge of major R&D projects in Belgium and across Europe.

Profile sought

• You hold or are in the process of obtaining a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Applied Economics or Business Engineering.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French, with a good knowledge of the other national language and a good command of English.
• You are proactive and enjoy taking on challenges;
• You excel at creating new client relationships and possess strong negotiation skills;
• You are motivated, reliable, team-oriented, and have a strong sense of initiative;
• You have a critical mindset and strong analytical skills.
