Senior Project/Programme Manager – Agile Delivery & PMO Leadership

As we are expanding our team, we’re looking for a high-performing Senior Project or Programme Manager with deep Agile delivery expertise who can wear two hats: owning and leading the delivery of complex initiatives and strengthening our delivery frameworks and governance through a growing PMO function. About the role:

This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic oversight with hands-on Agile leadership in a fast-paced, product-led technology environment. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Operations, and senior stakeholders to drive initiatives that deliver real impact—while helping myPOS mature its delivery operating model, Agile practices, and portfolio visibility.

What you’ll do:

Agile Delivery & Programme Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional projects and programmes in an Agile context.
  • Champion Agile principles and practices, fostering alignment across Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
  • Establish and facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) where needed, ensuring teams stay focused and adaptive.
  • Collaborate with product owners and scrum teams to define clear roadmaps, prioritise work, and drive value incrementally.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and blockers proactively to sustain velocity and delivery confidence.
  • Ensure progress transparency and deliverables tracking using tools like Jira, Confluence, and other Agile delivery platforms.

PMO & Portfolio Leadership

  • Co-design and evolve delivery frameworks, standards, and governance processes as part of a maturing PMO.
  • Support the Head of Technical Programme Management in building a clear, outcome-focused delivery portfolio view.
  • Develop and maintain tools, templates, and reporting mechanisms that serve both Agile teams and executive leadership.
  • Help embed a culture of metrics-driven delivery, leveraging KPIs to track performance, outcomes, and alignment to strategic goals.

People & Change Leadership

  • Act as a change agent for Agile and delivery excellence—mentoring teams, coaching peers, and leading by example.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across all levels of delivery.
  • Build relationships across the organisation to influence decision-making and foster collaboration.
  • Support leadership in driving transformation and cross-team alignment across business units.

This role is perfect for you if you have:

  • Agile Leadership – Proven track record of leading Agile delivery initiatives at scale (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or hybrid), with deep understanding of Agile principles and servant leadership.
  • Programme Ownership – Experience delivering multi-workstream programmes in dynamic product or tech environments.
  • PMO Acumen – Strong familiarity with PMO governance, reporting, prioritisation frameworks, and risk management practices.
  • Communication & Gravitas – Able to influence across levels, manage conflict, and present with confidence to senior stakeholders.
  • Tools Proficiency – Highly comfortable with Agile tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello), planning software (Smartsheet, Excel), and reporting dashboards.
  • Delivery Mindset – You drive clarity, accountability, and results—even in ambiguity.
  • 5+ years in project/programme management, ideally in Agile tech/product-led organisations.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
