Finance Transformation Lead

About the role:

The Finance Transformation Lead is responsible for designing and delivering the Finance Transformation Program at myPOS, creating a fit-for-purpose and best in class finance function aligned with the company’s growth. The FTL acts as the CFO’s right hand and ensures program outcomes in governance, process, data, systems, and people change.

The role is based in Varna, Bulgaria.

What you’ll do:

Program Governance & Roadmap
  • Define and maintain the end-to-end transformation roadmap (ERP, TMS, Planning, TOM).
  • Establish governance cadence, SteerCo, and communication rhythm.
  • Manage budget, scope, risks, and benefit realization.
  • Finance Process & Control Design.
  • Performance, FP&A & Value Management.
  • Technology Integration & Automation (ERP, TMS, Planning, AI).
  • Change, Capability & Adoption.

Finance Process & Control Design

  • Redesign R2R, O2C, P2P, Treasury and FP&A processes into a single global model.
  • Establish a “Big-Four audit-ready” control environment.

Performance, FP&A & Value Management

  • Build an integrated FP&A process linking planning, reporting, and performance management.
  • Introduce forecast allocation and capital allocation frameworks that drive ROI and value-based decision-making.
  • Design the data model and performance pack bridging organic, M&A, and efficiency levers.
  • Embed forecast accuracy KPIs and capital efficiency metrics.

Technology Integration & Automation (ERP, TMS, Planning, AI)

  • Lead integration of NetSuite, FIS, and Abacum with unified data architecture.
  • Drive automation, workflow, and AI-driven insights across finance processes (e.g., reconciliations, variance analysis, predictive forecasting).
  • Oversee testing, cut-over, and stabilization.

Change, Capability & Adoption

  • Lead stakeholder alignment, communications, and training.
  • Coach finance managers on transformation tools, automation, and data literacy.
  • Ensure sustainability and handover to permanent organizations

This role is perfect for you if you have:

Professional background

  • 10 years in Finance Transformation / CFO Advisory (Big Four, Accenture, or PE portfolio company).
  • Hands-on delivery of at least one ERP (preferably NetSuite) and one TMS / EPM implementation.
  • Proven experience designing and embedding finance Target Operating Models (TOMs).
  • Experience in multi-entity, multi-country organizations with regulated reporting (ideally fintech or FS).

Functional expertise

  • Deep knowledge of R2R, P2P, O2C, Treasury, Controlling, and FP&A.
  • Understanding of SOX / audit readiness, process automation, and data governance.
  • Strong grasp of financial reporting, FP&A, and value creation levers.

Technical literacy

  • ERP: NetSuite (or Oracle/SAP).
  • TMS: FIS / Kyriba (cash forecasting, reconciliation).
  • EPM: Abacum / Anaplan / OneStream.
  • Tools: Power BI, Excel, Project, Smartsheet.
  • AI exposure and use cases

Leadership & delivery

  • Comfortable owning multi-workstream programs.
  • Proven vendor and stakeholder management (CFO, CEO, auditors, investors).
  • Structured, decisive, and outcome-oriented.
