G&A Finance Business Partner

At myPOS, we’re all about helping businesses grow and get paid. We make payments simple, smart, and accessible for everyone, but we’re more than just payment solutions - myPOS is a partner in growth. From free multicurrency accounts to powerful e-commerce tools, we’re here to support business owners of all sizes and everyone out there who dreams of starting their own business.

As we are expanding our team, we’re looking for a G&A Finance Business Partner to help us make a real difference in the Fintech industry. Ready to join us and shape the future of payments? Let’s make it happen!

About the role:

As a G&A Finance Business Partner, you will act as a mini-CFO for all General & Administrative functions. You will work closely with the CFO, General Counsel, MLRO, CHRO, and senior executives to ensure G&A functions operate efficiently, remain compliant, and deliver tangible value to the organization.

The role is focused on cost governance, vendor and legal spend management, regulatory cost oversight, business cases, and performance management.

What you’ll do:

Cost Governance & Spend Optimisation

  • Own end-to-end cost governance across all G&A functions, ensuring spend is efficient, well-controlled, and aligned with strategic priorities.

  • Partner with G&A leaders to continuously assess cost effectiveness of vendors, outside counsel, consultants, service providers, and operational contracts.

  • Drive vendor rationalisation and procurement discipline, ensuring the organisation captures economies of scale and avoids cost duplication across G&A.

  • Challenge assumptions and outcomes constructively, ensuring G&A spend decisions are grounded in financial discipline and commercial logic.

Strategic Financial Advisory - Legal, Regulatory & Corporate Functions

  • Act as the primary financial advisor and sounding board for G&A leadership across Finance, Legal, Compliance, HR and Administration - providing insight on operating models, headcount planning, insourcing vs outsourcing trade-offs, and resource allocation decisions.

  • Partner with the General Counsel to manage and optimise outside counsel spend, provide financial oversight on major legal matters, litigation provisions, and insurance programmes, and ensure fee arrangements are competitive and predictable.

  • Partner with Compliance and the MLRO to provide financial visibility over regulatory programme costs - including licensing fees, AML/KYC tooling, transaction monitoring systems - and support business cases for compliance investments, ensuring costs are proportionate and linked to risk mitigation outcomes.

  • Monitor the cost of regulatory change, new licensing requirements, and evolving compliance obligations across jurisdictions, ensuring leadership has a clear view of emerging cost drivers and their cumulative impact on the company’s cost base.

Performance Management & KPI Monitoring

  • Define, monitor, and interpret key performance KPIs for G&A functions, covering cost efficiency, headcount productivity, service levels, compliance metrics, and vendor performance.

  • Establish and run a clear, repeatable performance cadence (weekly/monthly/quarterly) to provide transparency and alignment across the CFO, General Counsel, MLRO, CHRO, and executive stakeholders.

  • Partner with the FP&R team to guide reporting content and interpretation, ensuring insights are actionable and decision oriented.

  • Translate complex G&A performance data into clear executive narratives, enabling timely and confident decision-making at leadership level.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with G&A leaders, acting as the primary Finance point of contact for Legal, Compliance, HR, Administration, and Procurement.

  • Work closely with FP&R, Accounting, Controlling, and Treasury to ensure consistency between financial data, performance insights, and decision-making.

  • Serve as a bridge between Finance and G&A functions, embedding financial discipline, transparency, and outcome-focused thinking.

  • Influence decision-making through insight, credibility, and constructive challenge rather than formal authority.

This role is perfect for you if you have:

  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to evaluate cost efficiency, vendor value, and resource allocation trade-offs across complex corporate functions.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in finance business partnering, FP&A, commercial finance, or cost governance, ideally supporting G&A functions such as Legal, Compliance, HR, or Corporate Operations.

  • Proven experience in cost management, vendor spend oversight, budgeting, and performance monitoring, with the ability to drive financial discipline across multiple stakeholders.

  • Solid understanding of corporate cost structures, including professional services, external advisors, regulatory costs, and operational support functions.

  • Experience working with senior leadership (e.g., General Counsel, Compliance leadership, HR leadership), providing financial insight and supporting strategic resource allocation decisions.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear executive insights and decision frameworks.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and support leaders in making financially sound decisions.

  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in financial modelling, performance dashboards, and management reporting; familiarity with BI tools is considered a plus.

  • Structured, proactive, and outcome-oriented mindset, with a focus on cost optimisation, operational efficiency, and value creation rather than purely reporting.

  • Fluent English, written and spoken.

  • Master’s degree (e.g., MSc, MBA, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration) from a leading international university or business school is considered a strong advantage.

Why you should join myPOS:

  • Vibrant international team operating in hi-tech environment

  • Annual salary reviews, promotions and performance bonuses

  • myPOS Academy for upskilling and training

  • Unlimited access to courses on LinkedIn Learning

  • Annual individual training and development budget
