As we scale our operations and cross-functional projects, we are seeking a Business Operations Analyst to play a key role in structuring, enabling and sustaining efficient processes.
Your Mission
As Business Operations Analyst, your core mission is to analyse, design, implement and sustain efficient processes, while coordinating internal and client-facing projects that impact multiple teams.
You will bring structure where complexity exists, help teams work better together, and ensure that changes are understood, adopted and embedded over time. While you will contribute to project coordination and follow-up, the primary focus of the role is business analysis and process enablement.
You will report directly to the COO and work closely with stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Operational Excellence (Core Focus)
- Analyse existing operational and cross-department processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Define, document and take ownership of new or improved processes, ensuring they are clear, pragmatic and adapted to Paynovate’s reality.
- Ensure processes are properly adopted and support the implementation of changes through training, continuously fine-tuned over time.
- Provide reporting and visibility on process performance, adoption and improvement initiatives.
- Act as a bridge between Operations, IT, Product and other departments to ensure shared understanding of requirements and impacts.
Project Enablement & Coordination
- Coordinate internal cross-functional projects impacting multiple departments (e.g. new product features, operational changes, tooling evolutions); and support client-related projects (such as onboarding new partners, issuing or integration projects, etc.).
- Help frame projects into manageable steps, clarify roles and responsibilities, and track progress.
- Facilitate collaboration between teams to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
Is This You?
At Paynovate, we focus on placing the right people in the right roles and empowering them to make a real impact. We are looking for someone who:
- Has 3 to 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Operational Excellence, Process Analyst or similar role.
- Has experience working in an IT-driven environment; experience in fintech, payments or regulated environments is a strong plus.
- Is comfortable analysing complex situations and translating them into clear, actionable processes; while managing multiple initiatives in parallel.
- Has a strong enablement mindset: you don’t just design processes, you make sure they are understood and used.
- Has an interest in project coordination and cross-functional collaboration (formal PM certifications are not required).
- Is fluent in English, with French or Dutch as a native or strong working language.
- Is familiar with tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar platforms.
