CONTEXT
Within the Operations team, Paynovate is strengthening its Technical Implementation function following a team change.
The team currently includes a Technical Implementation Manager covering L1, L2, and L3 support as well as complex implementations.
This role is designed to take ownership of day-to-day operational activities (L1) and implementation coordination, allowing senior expertise to focus on advanced investigations and complex topics.
The position is hands-on, customer-facing, and execution-driven, with strong exposure to payment operations, implementation projects, and external vendors.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Implementation & change coordination

Coordinate client implementation projects and change requests, managing timelines, stakeholders, and dependencies.

Organize and lead weekly customer project calls, providing clear status updates and next steps.

Maintain audit records for implementations, changes, approvals, and scoping documents.

Approve pre-defined customer scoping documents in coordination with vendors.
Operational support (L1: Core focus)

Act as first-line support (L1) for operational and implementation-related requests.

Handle incoming tickets, qualify issues, resolve where possible, or escalate with structured analysis.

Ensure response and resolution timelines are met in line with internal SLAs.

Address operational questions related to payment flows and rules.
Stakeholder & vendor coordination

Provide operational and rules-based expertise to customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Work closely with Product, Operations, Sales, Compliance, and Finance.

Maintain regular alignment with external partners such as Visa, Mastercard, Thredd, and other vendors.
Process & documentation

Contribute to maintaining and improving implementation processes and documentation.

Identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reliability.

Junior to early-career profile with a strong operational and execution mindset.

Comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders and following structured processes.

Customer-oriented, reliable, and clear communicator.

Able to manage operational topics independently and escalate effectively when needed.

Fluent in English and French.
