Paynovate is a regulated Belgian fintech with around 80 employees, headquartered in Brussels (next to Central Station), with offices in Versailles and the UK. As the company scales, we are strengthening our operational foundations, offering a structured environment where accuracy, reliability, and ownership truly matter.
CONTEXT
This role is part of the continued strengthening of the Operations team in a growing and regulated environment. With an expanding merchant portfolio and increasing requirements around data quality and operational rigor, the team plays a key role in ensuring accuracy and consistency across day-to-day operations.
You will join a compact Operations team of around eight people, responsible for recurring administrative and merchant-related processes, including onboarding, data verification, and operational reporting. The team operates in a multilingual environment (French, Dutch, and English) and works in close collaboration to maintain high quality standards.
The role sits within a closely supervised team structure, with clear expectations around reliability, communication, and attention to detail. Team members are encouraged to ask questions, flag issues early, and actively interact with both peers and their team lead to ensure smooth execution and continuous improvement.
The team works in a hybrid setup; however, an on-site presence is expected during the onboarding period to support effective integration, knowledge transfer, and alignment on processes.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Merchant Onboarding & File Validation
Verify and validate merchant contracts, identity documents, and business information in accordance with established procedures.
- Data Accuracy & Quality Control
Ensure data accuracy across internal systems through thorough checks and validations. Identify and escalate inconsistencies when detected.
- High-Volume Operational Processing
Process a high volume of onboarding and administrative files with consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail.
- Reporting & Follow-up
Prepare recurring operational reports by extracting and consolidating data from internal tools and sharing results with relevant stakeholders.
- Communication & Collaboration
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams, external agents, and partners, and actively participate in team coordination

Professional proficiency in English and French or Dutch (German is a plus).
