YOUR MISSION
We are looking for a Fintech Business Developer based in our French office in Versailles to support the development of Paynovate’s business in France, one of the most dynamic markets.
In this role, you will develop partnerships with agents, distributors and financial players who integrate and commercialize Paynovate’s banking and payment solutions. You will evolve in a complex sales environment involving long-term cycles and high-value deals.
As a consultative business developer, you will combine business development, market understanding and solution design to build tailored partnerships, working closely with Operations, Finance, Legal and Customer Success teams to support opportunities from early discussions to go-live.
You will join the French team composed of a Branch Director and two Customer Success Managers, while collaborating with the broader commercial team based in Belgium.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Drive and structure complex business development opportunities
- Identify, engage and develop potential partners (agents, distributors, fintechs, financial institutions and corporates) interested in distributing or integrating Paynovate’s payment solutions
- Build and manage your pipeline through a mix of inbound leads, events and targeted outreach
- Lead the full business development cycle: from initial qualification and business analysis to commercial discussions, contract negotiation and partnership launch
- Structure long-term partnerships with a focus on quality, sustainability and mutual growth rather than one-off deals
Adopt a consultative and analytical approach
- Understand and analyze partners’ business models, market positioning and growth objectives
- Assess the relevance and feasibility of each opportunity in collaboration with internal stakeholders (Operations, Compliance, Finance, Legal)
- Act as a trusted advisor by designing tailored solutions aligned with client needs and Paynovate’s capabilities
- Support onboarding and ensure a smooth transition from signed deal to operational setup and go-live
Contribute to Paynovate’s market development
- Develop your network and generate new opportunities through industry events and targeted outreach
- Contribute to continuous market and competitive intelligence
IS IT YOU
We are looking for someone who:
- Has 5 years of experience in sales, business development or complex B2B environments, ideally in fintech, payments or digital services. Strong apprenticeship experience in a relevant field may be taken into account.
- Is comfortable managing consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, C-level, and long decision processes
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and challenge client business models
- Is able to balance business development with a strong focus on deal quality and long-term value creation
- Is comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and using CRM tools
- Speaks fluently French and English
