YOUR MISSION
We are looking for a Sales Executive based in our French office in Versailles to drive the growth of Paynovate’s business in France, one of the most dynamic markets.
In this role, you will acquire and develop key partners such as agents, distributors and financial institutions leveraging Paynovate’s banking and payment solutions, within a complex sales environment involving long cycles and high-value opportunities.
You will build and manage your pipeline, drive opportunities forward and convert them into long-term partnerships. In close collaboration with internal teams, you will ensure each deal is relevant, feasible and successfully delivered.
You will join the French team composed of a Branch Director and two Customer Success Managers, while collaborating with the broader commercial team based in Belgium.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own and drive a pipeline of complex sales opportunities, from sourcing to closing
- Identify, engage and develop key partners (agents, distributors, fintechs, financial institutions and corporates) around Paynovate’s payment solutions
- Build and manage your pipeline through a mix of inbound leads, industry events and targeted outreach
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, including qualification, business analysis, commercial discussions and contract negotiation
- Develop long-term, high-value partnerships with a focus on sustainability and mutual growth
- Understand and challenge partners’ business models to position relevant and tailored solutions
- Assess the feasibility and potential of each opportunity in collaboration with internal stakeholders (Operations, Compliance, Finance, Legal)
- Ensure a smooth transition from signed deal to onboarding and operational go-live
- Expand your network and generate new business opportunities through active market engagement
- Contribute to market insights and competitive intelligence to support Paynovate’s growth strategy
IS IT YOU
We are looking for someone who:
- Has 5 years of experience in sales or complex B2B environments, ideally in fintech, payments or digital services. Strong apprenticeship experience in a relevant field may be taken into account.
- Is comfortable owning and driving sales cycles end-to-end, from prospecting to closing, in complex environments
- Has experience engaging multiple stakeholders, including C-level, in long and structured decision processes
- Demonstrates strong business acumen and the ability to position value in sales discussions
- Is results-driven while maintaining a strong focus on deal quality and long-term partnerships
- Is comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and using CRM tools
- Speaks fluently French and English
