Why Paynovate?
Paynovate is a Belgium-based fintech with more than 80 talented employees. We’re building a company where dreams are shaped, where bold initiatives are taken, and where your leadership, ownership, and ability to follow through are valued. As a growing e-money institution, we are bringing payment solutions to the next level - and you could be part of that journey. As we scale our platform and product offerings, and as our French business expands, we are seeking a Compliance Manager to play a critical role in supporting Paynovate’s activities in a highly regulated environment.
Context
As Paynovate continues to expand its activities across Europe, France represents a key strategic market with strong growth potential.
To support this development and ensure full alignment with local regulatory requirements, we are strengthening our compliance setup in France through the creation of a dedicated local compliance function.

Working closely with the central Compliance function based in Belgium, you will also interact with senior leadership, contributing to governance discussions and reporting to executive management, the Board, and the Risk Committee. You will play a critical role in supporting the sustainable and compliant growth of our French operations.
Your Mission
As Compliance Manager in France, you will act as the primary compliance owner and referent for the French branch, ensuring the adequacy and robustness of the local compliance and AML/CFT framework.
You will operate with a high level of autonomy while leveraging Paynovate’s Belgian compliance infrastructure, and will play a key role in ensuring effective coordination between French regulatory expectations and group-level governance.
This is a senior individual contributor role, with strong ownership over processes, regulatory interactions, and compliance topics in France.
