Your job
Qover is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test, looking forward to being part of an ambitious entrepreneurial journey aiming at disrupting the European insurance market. Someone with a “can-do mentality”, passionate about technology, technically & digitally knowledgeable and that is looking to have fun.
By joining our team, you will
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for high coverage and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the lifecycle to ensure testability and identify early issues
- Play a key role in integrating automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline
- Proactively identify potential testability issues during code reviews, suggest improvements for better code maintainability, and champion best practices for software quality
- Foster communication and collaboration on quality initiatives
- Continuously learn and experiment with new testing tools and frameworks
- Directly contribute to improved software quality, reduced defects, and faster time-to-market
- Bachelor degree in ICT, Computer Science or equivalent in experience
- +3 years of experience in software development, preferably focused on test automation
- Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines
- Track record of designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks
- Strong expertise in programming languages such as Javascript, Java, C#, etc.) and test automation tools (preferably Jest, Vitest and Playwright)
- You are fluent in English
- You are stimulated by a fast-paced start-up environment, with a lot of changes, an informal culture and a good mix of challenges and fun
- You are pragmatic, show a “can-do” attitude, and are focused on business results
- You are smart, curious, able to quickly learn and adapt
- You are a natural team player, ready to collaborate on transversal projects and to build positive relationships with your colleagues
