About the role
As an Insurance Claims - External Partners Operations Specialist within the Claims organisation at Qover, you will be dedicated to managing and elevating the performance of our external claims handling partners (TPA, assistance providers, BPO,...). You will ensure our providers not only meet their operational targets but also deliver the exceptional service our customers expect.
Your role is crucial for maintaining operational excellence, ensuring compliance, and fostering strong, collaborative relationships with our partners. You will be the vital link between Qover and our external network, driving continuous improvement and guaranteeing that our quality standards are upheld across the board.
Responsibilities
Lead customer escalation management: Act as the primary owner for all external complex claims and complaints. You will personally investigate the root cause, troubleshoot issues with our partners, and report the progress back to the requesting team (partner, customer care team, mediation, …)
Drive quality assurance: Conduct regular quality audits and case file reviews to ensure partner adherence to Qover’s high standards and regulatory requirements. You will provide structured, actionable feedback to drive service excellence.
Ensure third-party reimbursement requests are directed to the appropriate TPA or internal team for accurate and timely handling.
Manage partner performance: Actively monitor our external partners' performance against key SLAs and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Oversee loss fund top-ups for specific products and ensure timely funding for claim settlements. Coordinate with risk carriers on funding needs for high-value claims, providing the necessary justification and ensuring timely availability of settlement funds.
Provide support to our partners : You will be the go-to person for operational queries and support, actively resolving blockers to maintain efficiency and smooth outsourced operations.
Build strong relationships: Serve as the primary operational contact for our external claims partners. You'll build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships to ensure alignment and partnership. You will lead recurring operational meetings with partners, drive follow-up on active cases and create an open channel of feedback between Qover’s teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and high-quality service delivery.
Exposure to larger discussions and meetings with insurers and commercial partners.

Your experience:
You have 2+ years of experience working in the insurance industry
You speak fluent English.Any other European language is a plus
Strong understanding of insurance claims processes. A past experience in claim handling is a strong asset.
Experience managing external stakeholders such as TPAs, intermediaries, assistance providers, or risk carriers is a plus.
