Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Senior UI/UX Engineer with over 7.5 years of experience, including significant expertise in both frontend and backend development. In this key role, you will lead the design, architecture, and implementation of end-to-end user experiences for our digital products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior members, and drive innovation across the full technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of complex, high-impact projects.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, designers, and engineers to align user experience with business objectives.

• Architect, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant front-end interfaces using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

• Design and develop robust backend services and APIs using technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET.

• Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components.

• Establish and maintain scalable design systems, coding standards, and best practices.

• Conduct and analyze user research, usability testing, and data-driven evaluations to inform design and technical decisions.

• Mentor junior team members and share expertise across the organization.

• Stay current with UI/UX and backend trends, emerging technologies, and advocate for continuous improvement.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, HCI, or a related field.
•11+ years of experience in UI/UX engineering and full-stack development, preferably in consulting or enterprise environments.
•Proven expertise in both frontend (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue.js) and backend (Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, or equivalent) development.
•Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with backend systems.
•Advanced proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision).
•Deep understanding of user-centered design, accessibility (WCAG), and usability best practices.
•Extensive experience developing and maintaining scalable design systems.
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•Experience mentoring and leading cross-functional teams.
•Portfolio demonstrating advanced UI/UX projects and full-stack solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
•Knowledge of Agile, Lean UX, or DevOps practices.
•Familiarity with motion design or micro-interactions.
•Previous experience working with global or distributed teams.
