Job Description

The Strategy & Reporting Senior Manager will report to the Vice President of Global People Solutions (GPS) and provide leadership to a global team responsible for delivering exceptional colleagues experiences, centralizing and optimizing People lifecycle processes and enhancing global solutions for the People Team. This role will play an integral part in developing stronger partnerships across the organization, driving data-driven decision-making, and enhancing organizational maturity through the GPS Make It Possible Strategy.

The leader is responsible for the development, implementation, and effective execution of global GPS Make it Possible Strategy across Best-in-Class Operations, Productive partnerships, and great place the work. This role will focus on the elevation of GPS performance, driving alignment, global consistency, and speed of execution. This will include the implementation of an integrated and aligned strategy to grow and sustain our People Solutions value proposition and value to Visa colleagues and business partners. Key to success of this role will be the ability to developing holistic internal solutions, building an integrated roadmap for execution, and partnering across the GPS Leadership team to demonstrate results and impact of execution. This leader will need to build strong relationships across the People team.

The Senior Manager will be responsible for risk management, compliance, quality assessment, financial tracking, and productivity management. They will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee GPS operations and ensure excellence across all regions and services
  • Use the GPS Scorecard for performance analytics and reporting
  • Represent GPS at the regional level and build strong internal partnerships
  • Drive and support strategic initiatives and new work opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand and meet partner business needs
  • Proactively manage regional escalations and resolve urgent issues
  • Implement solutions to prevent recurring challenges
  • Monitor KPIs and use data to improve stakeholder satisfaction and service quality
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Lead strategies to foster a positive workplace culture and high team performance
  • Support talent planning, development, and succession within GPS
  • Implement the GPS Shared Service Strategy and Governance Model
  • Align work and deliverables with broader GPS priorities and impact
  • Lead GPS leadership forums, governance meetings, and executive reporting
  • Develop and manage global partnership and collaboration strategies
  • Oversee risk management, compliance programs, and address audit findings
  • Manage financial tracking, budgeting, and productivity planning
  • Lead training, capability building, and career development initiatives
  • Develop and execute communications and change management strategies
  • Coordinate GPS objectives, action items, and provide executive-level updates

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in shared services, financial, HR, or transformation leadership roles
  • Proven track record delivering strategic initiatives and complex cross-functional programs
  • Strong project management, risk management, and financial planning capabilities
  • Experience with global process ownership across diverse regions and functions
  • Ability to think strategically and challenge the status quo
  • Skilled at developing proposals that advance organizational objectives
  • Proactively builds strategic connections and identifies improvement opportunities
  • Manages multiple priorities under tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to create communications for diverse audiences and functions
  • Experience representing teams at internal and external events, including with C-suite
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; data-driven decision-maker
  • Synthesizes complex analytics into actionable business strategies
  • Monitors KPIs and uses metrics for continuous improvement

  • Multilingual; Spanish or Portuguese proficiency preferred
