Job Description
The Marketing Services CEMEA Director will lead a central hub team to collaborate with sub-regional marketing services teams and increase VIK marketing revenue. Responsibilities include overseeing ecosystem partnerships, improving operations and workflows, upskilling internal and external teams, and developing and implementing bespoke marketing programs for key partners.
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement a consultative framework for identifying and tracking pipeline opportunities across CEMEA
Standardize workflows throughout the sales journey from opportunity assessment to pitch closure
Build bespoke programs aligned with sub-regional marketing services priorities and solving for their pain points
Position Visa Marketing Services as subject matter experts by driving thought leadership through published whitepapers, case studies, and participation in key industry events
Team Development & Management
Build and retain a team of top marketing talent with diverse expertise and capabilities we can sell into VIK teams
Foster a collaborative environment focused on service excellence for regional teams
Upskill internal and external teams to ensure they are equipped with the latest marketing strategies and tools
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
Partner with VCA, sales, product, and analytics teams to ensure an integrated approach to marketing services showing up as 1Visa
Facilitate knowledge sharing of best practices and learnings across sub-regions and teams
Build and extract added value from ecosystem partnerships to pass-through to clients
Capability Building & Operational Excellence
Develop sales enablement collateral through playbooks and resources to scale successful approaches across CEMEA.
Create reporting systems to track pipeline growth and conversion rates
Co-design measurement frameworks to demonstrate ROI on marketing investments
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
- Strategic visionary with a strong commercial acumen and exceptional negotiation skills.
- Data-driven decision maker capable of leveraging insights to create engaging marketing opportunities and drive strategic outcomes.
- Master planner and project manager with a proven ability to deliver flawless execution and impactful results.
- Relationship builder and influencer adept at forging strong partnerships with clients and stakeholders, and negotiating win-win solutions.
- Marketing expert with significant experience in brand management, campaign planning, marketing strategy, and execution.
- P&L savvy with a deep understanding of key financial drivers to build compelling business cases.
- Digital marketing guru with expertise in performance marketing and modern digital practices.
- Experienced client manager with a track record of managing external clients and agencies, and developing integrated campaign materials.
- Self-starter with high energy and a proactive approach to self-management and goal achievement.
