Team Description
Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, digital marketing and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
The US Consulting team within VCA provides consulting services for Visa’s clients in the United States. We apply deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions to assist clients with their key business priorities drive growth and improve profitability. The VCA team provides a comprehensive range of consulting services to deliver solutions that address unique challenges in areas such as improving profitability, strategic growth, customer experience, digital payments and managing risk.
Responsibilities
- Play an integral role on a team of experienced professionals in delivering strategic consulting services to key Visa clients
- Complete consulting engagements with other team members, including participating in interviews, analyzing confidential client data, and summarizing key findings
- Conduct industry research and identify internal and external data resources to create custom analytics
- Complete detailed analysis on client data and identify preliminary trends and themes in the data
- Develop client-specific presentations which address executive needs and deliver presentations to clients and internal Visa partners
- Play an integral role in the development of new consulting solutions and materials to train VCA team members
- Monitor industry trends and contribute to the development of whitepapers on the impact to clients.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of work experience
- Bachelor's degree required, ideally in quantitative field (e.g. engineering, economics, computer science, business administration, finance…).
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Analytical skills, with the ability to process and summarize data into insights.
- Strong team player with a willingness to collaborate across levels and functional experts. both internal to Visa and with the client.
- Proven time management skills.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt.
- A background in payments, financial institutions or consumer lending is a plus.
- An affinity for payments technology and its future.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 70,600.00 to 117,400.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
