Job Description

The Consumer Products Benefit LAC team is focused on delivering high-value travel benefits that drive issuer and cardholder engagement across the region. As the Travel Benefits Manager, you will enhance cardholder experiences across every stage of the travel journey – from planning and booking to airport, in-transit, arrival and post-travel recovery.

You will work closely with vendors, product leads, and market teams to source and manage relevant partnerships, design benefit packages, and ensure the portfolio delivers value, exclusivity, and ease of access- especially for affluent and high net worth cardholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage travel-related benefits and vendors across all stages of the travel journey
  • Lead negotiations, vendor management, and performance tracking across key travel providers (airline, lodging, transportation, services etc.)
  • Source, assess and implement benefits that address key travel touchpoints: inspiration & planning, booking & preparation, airport experience, in flight & transit, arrival & destination, return & settle
  • Design and manage bespoke travel benefit packages tailored to affluent and HNW segments
  • Monitor travel trends and customer behavior to continuously evolve the value proposition
  • Support Visa’s strategic priorities, including cross-border spend, travel engagement, and digital transformation
  • Develop and expand both core and optional travel benefits, aligned to product segmentation and business needs
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and market teams to ensure alignment, localization, and effective implementation of benefits
  • Ensure a seamless, user-friendly redemption experience across channels
  • Track and report on benefit performance, engagement, and satisfaction metrics
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with travel partners to evaluate performance, gather insights and define future plans

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
•5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
•6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Engineering, Economics or a related field (MBA preferred)
•5+ years of experience in product development, vendor management, payments, travel or loyalty programs
•Strong understanding of travel-related partnerships and cardholder benefit ecosystems
•Proven track record managing strategic vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance oversight
•Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills
•Comfortable working cross-functionally and across regional markets
•Fluency in Spanish and English required, Portuguese is a plus
