Job Description
Senior Manager Scheme & Implementation
This role will be instrumental in navigating the setup of scheme management frameworks, support shaping strategic product roadmaps, and preparing for large-scale portfolio migration initiatives. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, bridging client needs with internal delivery capabilities and ensuring alignment across governance, operations, and technology. This role will be reporting to the Service Owner, Scheme Relationship (Business-to-Business).
Role and Responsibilities:
Scheme Management Setup
Establish and operationalise scheme management frameworks tailored to support long-term partnership success. Define governance structures, OKRs, and reporting cadences to support Visa–Westpac relationship. Develop monitoring systems to track Visa incentive utilisation and ensure optimal benefit realisation.
Portfolio Migration Preparation
Support the Senior Migration program Lead with the portfolio migration activities by acting as a center point of contact between cross functional teams/vendors. Drive cross-functional decision-making, resolve blockers to support migration activities and ensure alignment with business objectives. Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations throughout the migration lifecycle.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a key liaison between Westpac teams and broader Visa migration support teams. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within Westpac's product, technology, marketing, and compliance LOBs(Lines of Business).
Strategic Product Roadmap Support
Collaborate with client product teams to identify enhancement opportunities and future-state capabilities.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years’ experience in financial services, payments, or scheme management.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex portfolio migrations.
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks, OKRs, and incentive tracking.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and strategic advisory skills.
- Preferred certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant compliance/risk credentials.
