Job Description

Role Overview

As a senior sales leader within Visa Acceptance Solutions, you will be responsible for retaining, growing, and expanding strategic clients in the Visa portfolio, driving bookings and revenue growth to support the Value-Added Services scorecard.

This role requires a proven sales professional with strong business development, account management, and execution skills. You will own client relationships, establish and deliver against account plans, and ensure consistent adoption of Visa’s sales methodology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management & Growth

    • Manage a portfolio of strategic Acceptance Solutions clients (Cybersource) to create a robust pipeline of upsell and revenue growth opportunities.

    • Deliver multi-year client contracts that secure long-term value for Visa and our clients.

    • Meet and/or exceed revenue, and growth targets through quota attainment and disciplined delivery.

  • Strategic Client Engagement

    • Proactively engage with C-level executives to promote Visa Acceptance Solutions technology and influence client strategies for acquisition, payment volume growth, and adoption of value-added services.

    • Organize and implement structured strategic account planning processes to identify client opportunities and challenges, and deploy Visa solutions to meet mutual business objectives.

  • Sales Excellence

    • Consistently leverage Visa’s sales methodology to identify, qualify, and close new opportunities.

    • Apply strong commercial acumen to provide deep client insight, assess performance and risks, and convert opportunities into results.

    • Accurately forecast bookings and revenue through Visa’s tools (Salesforce, MSD).

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with peers across functions (Product, Marketing, RAIS, Sales Engineering and Client Services) and regions to deliver against commercial goals.

    • Consult on and implement innovative sales enablement strategies within your client portfolio.

  • Opportunity Development

    • Identify new opportunities to upsell Visa Acceptance solutions and services.

    • Manage a client-by-client strategy with measurable KPIs and activity targets.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding bookings and revenue quotas.
  • Experience deploying a value-based sales methodology to accelerate deal closure.
  • Ability to engage and influence C-level executives, presenting strategic vision and negotiating effectively.
  • Experience managing multiple internal stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment to deliver commercial outcomes.
