Team Summary
The India Co-brand Partnerships team’s mission is to win new co-brand business and ensure co-brand portfolio success in India the AP region. The team is engaged across multiple functions within the Visa India organization to bring the very best of Visa’s expertise and assets to our clients, earning well-qualified wins to drive revenue growth for Visa and ensuring program success, while building trust and growing engagement among teammates, partners and clients.
What a Director, Co-brand Portfolio Optimization does at Visa
The Director, Co-Brand Portfolio Optimization will be responsible for managing co brand partnership portfolios optimization in India. This role will optimize co brand portfolios through identification of new and ongoing opportunities, introduction of new Visa products or services as well as implementation of new cobrand programs to successful commercialization.
This role requires well established relationship management skills, vision and creativity to develop the co-brand campaigns, a collaborative drive to ensure the expansion of Visa products and services, and strong analytical skills to identify optimization insights. Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to follow through on execution to deliver tangible business results will positively contribute to Visa’s business objectives.
This role will into the Senior Business Development Leader for India. This role will collaborate with functions across Visa such as the co-brand partnerships team at Visa AP Market Support Centre, merchant sales leaders, issuer account leaders, marketing, consulting, analytics, product teams in Visa India & AP organization. Externally, this role will collaborate with executives at merchants and issuers.
Projects you will be a part of:
1. Strategic merchant and issuer engagements to drive portfolio optimization objectives
2. Execution of co brand optimization initiatives in India in alignment with India & AP Co-brand priorities
3. Launch of new co-brands in India
4. Drive cross-functional discussions with the relevant stakeholders to construct Visa’s value story and lead internal alignment.
5. Serve as internal and external thought leader responsible for communicating Visa's Co-brand and partnership vision, strategy and perspective within a rapidly evolving industry.

Qualifications
What you will need:
1. Deep experience in payment products and cobrands, fluent in Co-brand business program management best practices along with implications for issuers, networks, and merchants.
2. Co-brand experience managing a Co-brand portfolio, preferably across India market and relevant industries such as airline, retail, and ecommerce.
3. Collaboration and Relationship Building – Demonstrated experience building and leveraging strong relationships at multiple levels. The candidate will have the desire to be a thought leader who can educate and inspire – both clients and teammates.
4. Excellent Communicator – Superb ability to influence and collaborate at all levels, ability to articulate strategic concepts through exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
5. Drive for Results – Strong project management skills with ability to deliver tangible business results.
6. Proactive/Self Starter – Willing and able to take on new challenges and able to work through ambiguity.
7. Dynamic and flexible – Able to juggle numerous responsibilities simultaneously with swift turnaround times, able to work across multiple time zones when required.
8. Analytical – ability to clarify assessment needs and perform rigorous analysis to support project objectives
What will also help-
1. 10+ years of experience, with a focus on the Payments industry
2. 5+ years Co-brand issuer, merchant experience, preferably across a variety of relevant industries such as everyday spend, airline, retail, ecommerce, digital marketplace.
3. Fluent in co-brand program management, best practices along with implications for issuers, networks and merchants.
4. Data fluency and previous experience in sourcing and analyzing data to derive business insights.
5. Deep knowledge of payment economics and partnership structures with analytic orientation and viewpoint on emerging partnership trends.
6. Master’s degree required
