Job Description
As a Senior Manager within the Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) CMS Practice, you will lead the growth and development of the Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) consulting practice across Asia Pacific. This regional role is pivotal in shaping the future of VCS by expanding our offerings, deepening our capabilities, and driving impactful engagements with clients. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and consulting delivery experience, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to navigate a highly matrixed and cross-functional environment.
Specific Responsibilities include:

Project Delivery
Lead one or more workstreams within CMS consulting engagements focused on commercial cards and B2B payments, including strategy design, performance improvement, and growth acceleration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment with broader Visa initiatives
Translate complex data into actionable insights and compelling visuals that support client decision-making and strategic planning
Support client engagement throughout the project lifecycle, helping shape scope, priorities, and delivery milestones

Business Development
Contribute to the development of client proposals, pitch materials, and engagement plans, clearly defining scope, deliverables, and resource needs
Partner with account executives and consulting leads to qualify opportunities and recommend appropriate engagement models based on client needs
Assist in managing internal processes for pricing approvals, project setup, and revenue tracking to ensure operational accuracy and compliance

Thought Leadership
Develop and refine reusable assets, templates, and engagement frameworks to scale CMS practice capabilities across markets
Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to inform client recommendations and internal capability building
Collaborate with geographically distributed teams, offering strategic input and mentoring junior consultants to elevate team performance and delivery quality
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or at least 6 years of work experience in consulting or strategy roles within a consulting firm or the in-house strategy function of a financial institution
- Good knowledge and experience covering/working in financial services and payments/banking in commercial cards or B2B payment space
- Outstanding problem-solving and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically, and to present effectively to senior management of clients and Visa
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to use data to manage risks, uncover improvement opportunities, and guide clients toward fact-based decisions
- Skilled in strategic storytelling, with proficiency in PowerPoint, data visualization, and pyramid-principle communication to structure compelling narratives tailored to diverse audiences
- Highly collaborative nature, with experience working across geographically distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to connect data streams, guide development of storyboards, templates, and visuals, and customize recommendations that integrate Visa and Visa as a Service (VAS) synergies
- Proven ability to draft proposals, lead pitches, and collaborate with internal and external partners to drive business growth and client impact
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver high-quality outcomes under tight timelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of credit risk principles and frameworks, with the ability to assess and interpret risk dynamics specific to commercial card portfolios, including underwriting, exposure management, and portfolio optimization strategies
