Job Description
The Global Products & Initiatives team is responsible for Visa’s consumer payments portfolio of products including Visa Flex Credential, Visa Payment Passkey, Credit, Debit, Affluent, e-commerce and digital identity solutions.
The Product Manager will be a key member of Visa’s Global Products & Initiatives product management team working to drive and deliver against the roadmap and will work in close partnership with technology and regional teams to advance Visa’s product vision globally.
This role will contribute to the top priority product initiatives across the consumer products portfolio and requires a strong technical foundation and breadth of product management experience. The exact product scope will be defined by business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally to define and align on product roadmap and strategy.
- Define and document functional and technical requirements for new products and features
- Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, UX design, data science, and risk teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant product delivery
- Champion agile methodologies across cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions efficiently
- Support governance processes and integrate risk, compliance, and security considerations into product development and lifecycle management
- Establish KPIs and metrics for monitoring product performance and compliance
- Support new product development, go-to-market planning, and global rollout coordination.
- Work closely with regional product teams to ensure global strategies are actionable and locally relevant
- Contribute to product planning and strategy cycles
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- 4 + years of experience in product management, technology product development, management consulting or a related field.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or engineering field such as industrial engineering, systems engineering, engineering management, computer science, software engineering, or product design
- Experience and comfort adapting to work on different types of products
- Experience leading and managing complex, cross-functional technical projects.
- Superior strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor and attention to detail.
- Strong technical literacy, ability to work closely with engineering and technical teams
- Ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior stakeholders and external business partners.
- Proactive self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and adaptable, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
- Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments, financial services, or technology sectors.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 146,200.00 to 211,850.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
