About the Team and the Role

Join a collaborative team at the heart of Visa technology and product delivery. We are looking for a thoughtful and organized program leader to guide quarterly planning, prioritization, and execution. You will be central to how teams work together to deliver secure, high‑quality products on predictable timelines.

What You Will Do

  • Guide strategic planning with Product and Technology leaders during Quarterly Execution Planning.
  • Use Jira Align as the single source of truth for plans, dependencies, and delivery status.
  • Enable smart prioritization of epics and features aligned to OKRs and capacity.
  • Oversee program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, actuals, and funding documentation.
  • Coordinate Team of Teams participation in planning across Operations, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and other Technology groups.
  • Apply established delivery practices including AM2, key controls, SSDLC, release management, and PLM to ensure secure and compliant outcomes.
  • Provide clear, data‑driven reporting on progress, quality, flow, and value; facilitate program ceremonies such as Scrum of Scrums, ART syncs, and system demos.
  • Proactively manage intra‑ and inter‑team dependencies; identify risks early and drive mitigation plans.
  • Maintain strong cross‑functional communication to maximize understanding and speed of adoption.
  • Track measurable progress toward OKRs and use insights to improve performance, predictability, and value delivery.
  • Support internal and external audits; ensure timely remediation of security vulnerabilities and maintain audit‑compliant processes.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Strong communication skills to align technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and financial status.
  • Hands on SDLC and product development experience in a scaled environment.
  • Deep, practical expertise with Jira Align; our quarterly planning, prioritization, and execution depend on it.
  • Proven ability to proactively manage intra and inter team dependencies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Experience managing complex multi‑team programs with many stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with regulated environments, compliance, and security processes.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 131,600.00 to 190,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
