Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented marketing leader to drive growth for Visa’s Value-Added Services (VAS) Acceptance Solutions across Asia Pacific. This role will design and execute high-impact marketing programs that generate demand, accelerate sales opportunities, and strengthen Visa’s leadership in the B2B payments ecosystem. This role will drive marketing impact for both direct merchants and indirect partners, including acquirers, payment facilitators and technology partners.

As part of both the Global VAS Acceptance Marketing and Asia Pacific B2B Product Marketing teams, you will work closely with cross-functional marketing groups, sales leaders, and strategic partners to adapt global strategies for the Asia Pacific and deliver measurable results.

Key responsibilities:

Demand and lead generation:

  • Develop and execute lead generation programs that promote VAS Acceptance Solutions and deliver measurable business outcomes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful lead generation global campaigns by providing Asia Pacific nuances and target account lists/markets.

  • Lead the planning and execution of Visa-led events, external events and webinars that position us as an industry leader and generate demand.

  • Collaborate with strategic partners to identify and engage in priority industry events that support our B2B marketing strategy.

  • Lead the development of event content and engagement strategies to raise awareness of our offerings and engage key decision-makers.

Sales enablement

  • Create and localise sales tools (presentations, case studies, RFP pitches) for sales team to accelerate sales opportunities.

  • Partner with sales to develop bespoke sales pitches for strategic clients or prospects with measurable revenue impact.

Thought leadership and content creation:

  • Drive thought leadership initiatives that strengthen Visa’s position as a trusted thought leader in the B2B payments ecosystem.

  • Develop compelling and relevant multi-channel content – from web and social to event presentation – that drives engagement and lead generation.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and corporate communication teams to produce high-quality content and speaking engagement content for industry events.

Marketing insights and performance:

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and market opportunities to shape marketing and content strategies.

  • Analyse campaign and event data to generate actionable insights that guide decision making and inform future programs.

  • Measure and report on marketing performance, tracking KPIs and revenue impact, and sharing results with senior leaders across the business.

  • Maintain rigorous lead management and work closely with global and market sales teams to ensure smooth lead management, from marketing engagement to sales conversion.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree is required or 7+ years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
  • Experience in B2B Marketing, Field Marketing or Product Marketing, preferably in payments, financial services, or technology companies.
  • Proven experience in demand generation, campaign management, event management and sales acceleration activities.
  • Strong content development skills with an audience-first approach, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging messages.
  • Analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to optimise performance and guide marketing strategy.
  • Strong presentation, communication, both written and verbal, stakeholder management, relationship management and influencing skills at all levels in a matrixed organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a results orientation who approaches any challenge with thoughtfulness, drive, and appropriate urgency.
  • Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating across functional activities, obtain buy-in and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately.
  • Knowledge of Chinese language and/or Japanese would be an asset as this role covers Greater China and Japan.
  • Travel and flexible hours requirements
  • This position may require occasional travel up to 10% of the time (domestic and/or international) for events execution.
  • Candidate must be willing to work flexible hours that enable collaboration with team members across various US and global time zones as needed.
