Team Summary
Visa’s Cybersource is a market-leading e-commerce platform for acquirers and merchants, enabling secure transactions both online and offline. The platform provides enhanced fraud management capabilities and solutions that facilitate all payment types. Cybersource’s Decision Manager offers world-class fraud detection, and the platform has evolved into an omni-channel solution supporting digital, in-app, and in-store transactions.
In addition to Cybersource, the Acceptance Solutions team is responsible for driving the sale and adoption of Visa’s network products and solutions, including core payment network capabilities, value-added services, and new innovations. The team also leads acquiring-side sales for Featurespace, a leading provider of fraud prevention and risk management solutions, ensuring acquirers and merchants benefit from advanced fraud detection and transaction monitoring.
Cybersource is the largest payment gateway platform across India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, supporting many of the region’s largest e-commerce businesses. The team’s expanded remit positions it as a strategic pillar for Visa’s growth, with executive sponsorship to invest in innovative merchant and acquirer solutions.

Job Description and Responsibilities
Drive Cybersource Visa network products, and Featurespace acquiring-side solutions revenue objectives for India & South Asia. This role is responsible to deliver against our new business development goals, deepening of existing client relationships and all commercial business management agendas. The role has coverage of India and South Asia markets.
The role is tasked with meeting our annual revenue goals (revenue is in 8-digits USD), new business development and renewal goals (measured through contracted average annual net revenue) and other strategic initiatives. The Business Leader will achieve objectives by achieving sales alignment with larger Visa teams, regional and global Cybersource teams and other Visa departments. This is a critical role and reports to the Vice President and Head of Acceptance Solutions for Asia Pacific.
This role is also the account management lead for all Cybersource clients in India including VPC reseller relationships with acquirers, merchant users and other distributor partners. FI accounts are led by AEs however the CYBS relationship and goals are managed by this position jointly.
- Success metrics include revenue & transaction growth, market share, client success and other related KPIs for Cybersource Sales as agreed to in the Visa Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Be an active member of the country AEs and regional CYBS teams. Ensure success in coordination with other teams.
- Deliver Cybersource AOP and sales performance management KPIs including pipeline management, conversion, time to revenue etc.
- Manage close working partnerships with Visa stakeholders – AEs, other business development teams, Product, Finance and Legal.
- Drive execution of pricing and commercial strategy.

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience working in payments, e-commerce, Fintech and/or technology enabled commerce businesses in a solution selling environment.
• Experience in driving merchant, acquiring, or payment partnerships with a deep understanding of the payments industry and India / South Asia market landscape. Relationships across key players would be valuable. Sound perspective on government and regulatory environment is an asset.
• 15+ years business development and/or solutions experience.
• Own and manage partnerships, drive business outcomes and coordinate internal resources towards delivery of partnership goals. Develop, manage and deliver on account plans.
• Be the principal point of contact of CyberSource with client organizations, focusing on creating sustainable long-term relationships with acquirers and enterprise customers.
• Develop strong alignment between partner organizations and Visa. Agree on strategic goals and deliver both long-term and short-term outcomes. Negotiate pricing as well as contractual terms within set parameters and adhere to internal policy and procedures when structuring agreements. Delivery of ‘partner specific’ strategic account plans for each partner to ensure delivery against set income targets.
• Grow sales of online payment, fraud management solutions and ancillary products with acquirers/resellers and merchants.
• Provide pre-sales consultation and testing of solutions to ensure appropriate fit for client requirements and effective solution implementation. Manage the successful delivery of initiatives strategic clients and offer ongoing payments consulting.
• Demonstrate a strong command of the CyberSource ecommerce service suite with the ability to identify opportunities to cross-sell and maximize revenue in each client portfolio.
• Experience in developing and tracking client-centric strategies within a matrixed organization.
• Solution focused: connect the dots and leverage Visa best practices, unafraid to make timely decisions in ambiguous, high pressure situations, quick to adjust/recover and reset priorities.
• Graduate caliber, MBA preferred.
