Job Description

What’s it all about?

The Business Testing Team is a critical function within Global Operations which is responsible for supporting Client implementation testing, Network Partner testing across UAT and Production and a validation of Product changes. Team is responsible for ensuring that quality is maintained within the payment and reconciliation flows, and that client and network partner lifecycle are managed in accordance with best practice and industry-leading governance across the Visa Direct businesses.

The Snr Manager, Client Testing, is responsible for leading and developing multiple teams across multiple regions, including the following Account and Wallet testing functions as well as release management. These teams will support other internal client facing stakeholder groups, ensuring seamless change and transition into the business.

This role will be required to partner with the Commercial Teams across global region, demonstrating an understanding of key strategic objectives and their application to the region whilst acting as a key point of contact for the Visa Direct Money Movement business.

What we expect of you, day to day.

This strategic role reports to the Senior Director, Business Testing and will:

  • Own and drive the end-to-end client implementation testing strategy for Visa Direct products across multiple regions (APAC, EMEA, U.S.)
  • Provide supports and guidance for the MMS client facing department and teams, and direct assistance and serve as an escalation point for internal stakeholders as well as clients
  • Oversee all critical activities of the department Client related Testing and onboarding, and the delivery of a high-quality testing service to clients and internal stakeholders (across VDA & VDW and D2A)
  • Oversee the support of all regional Money Movement client support teams, with scale and regional requirements in mind
  • Build a strong and cohesive team by providing leadership through coaching, setting strategic testing directions and applying working knowledge of Visa products, systems and procedures
  • Be accountable for the escalations, identification, and mitigation of risks that reside within the Client Testing function
  • Translate strategic regional goals into operational Testing plans and ensure delivery
  • Define and implement Client testing governance models, ensuring consistency, scalability, and adherence to global delivery standards
  • Ownership of the Client Test process, ensuring impact assessment and coordination across multiple client onboarding functions to ensure delivery and decrease client onboarding cycles
  • Define the KPIs for the Client Testing to measure performance, output and quality and feed into continual improvement and provide status updates to key VPL and regional Visa Direct stakeholders
  • Maintain a strategic focus through ongoing dialogue with business partners, seeking to gain an understanding of key strategic objectives and apply these to all global regions.
  • Build effective relationships with Commercial stakeholders, Sales and Solutioning and clients to enable effective delivery of all elements of the Money Movement products, including the respective KPIs and reporting capabilities

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

What we’re after…

  • 5+ years’ payments experience within a bank, fintech or payment processing institution
  • Demonstrable experience of Test Management of large international, diverse testing functions
  • Oversee resource planning, capacity management, and performance reviews to optimize team delivery
  • Demonstrable understanding of domestic and international payments, scheme rules, operations, the delivery of service and the regulatory landscape
  • A strategic thinker who is self-motivated, resilient and a strong collaborator with good interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrable track record of the identification, management and delivery of significant testing service, operational and control improvements
  • Proven track record in delivering transformation in a fast-changing organisation
  • A continuous improvement mind-set and demonstrates a strong track record of identifying and successfully implementing change in process
  • An ability to delegate and deliver through people while holding people and teams to account
  • Consistently demonstrated leadership behaviours in team management and interactions with staff, peers, senior management, clients and third-party vendors
  • Ability to simplify complex issues in order to outline a path to resolution
  • Demonstrable problem solving and analytical/decision-making skills through the use of data
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, possessing the maturity and capability to interact and influence across multiple levels and organisations internal and external to Visa
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience (MBA considered attractive)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with emphasis on negotiating, influencing, facilitating and presentation skills
  • Excellent skills in drafting presentations, reports, communications, and other deliverables.
  • Comfortable to present to C-suite and senior management
  • A good understanding of Payment regulations under different jurisdictions
