Job Description

Visa Direct is Visa’s payment platform that enables fast, secure, and scalable fund transfers for clients—including banks, fintech’s, merchants and payment enablers—to cards, bank accounts, digital wallets, and collection endpoints globally. It supports a broad range of use cases such as P2P transfers, gig economy payouts, insurance disbursements, merchant settlements, payroll, and cross-border remittances, unlocking a global money movement opportunity estimated at USD 80 trillion.

What The Analyst, Visa Direct Business Development and Portfolio Management does at Visa:

This team sits at the cross-section of sales and product solutioning with a mandate to accelerate growth for Visa Direct in Singapore. The Analyst, Visa Direct Business Development and Portfolio Management is a hybrid role covering both new sales and account management. The role will support business development sales activities to accelerate Visa Direct adoption and growth in Singapore as well as supporting the management of key clients (Banks, Enablers, FinTech’s and merchants) to ensure continued transaction growth and adoption of new solutions.

Projects you will be a part of and responsibilities include:

  • Provide support in achieving annual sales and net revenues goals of Visa Direct
  • Support development of the sales strategy for sales acceleration, including determining high potential client targets, use cases and verticals, etc.
  • Supporting the sales lifecycle from prospecting and sales pitch through to launch and ongoing account management in partnership with AEs and other cross-functional partners
  • Account management of Visa Direct key clients (Enablers, Banks, merchants and FinTech’s) to perform activities such as but not limited to; business reviews to monitor performance and identify areas of growth opportunities or upsell new solutions, joint sales pitches with enablers, support enabler sales training session
  • Leverage internal and external relationships to identify, build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure achievement of annual sales targets
  • Work proactively to overcome and remove internal and external blockers to achieve sales objectives
  • Work with finance business partners to structure high value, commercial deal structures
  • Support local, in-market sales teams with top priority sales initiatives
  • Assist in providing insight and market intelligence to support lead generation and marketing campaigns
  • Build strong internal and external relationships
  • Work with Visa Direct Product Solutioning, Implementation and Client Services Teams to support client launches post contract execution

Qualifications

What you will need:
Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, commercialization, and client-focused roles across global or multi-market environments.
Proven track record as a creative self-starter with strong execution in launching technology products that drive customer satisfaction.
Demonstrated leadership in product management, strategy, commercialization, and/or management consulting.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional teams.
Passionate about innovation in payments, with a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and collaborative spirit.

What will also help:
Visa or financial/payment industry knowledge required, push payments or real-time payments experience a plus
