VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.
Job Description
Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) team is looking for an individual to join our consulting practice and play a key role developing high impact projects for Visa’s clients in the Andean Region. The potential candidate will proactively engage with Visa clients (including issuers, acquirers, merchants, processors, fintech's), by delivering and implementing projects and solutions with issuers, acquirers and merchants. This person will develop initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both the preferred brand and unique business partner.
- Potential engagements could include Digital consulting, customer acquisition, customer life cycle optimization, retention enhancement, benchmark analysis, profitability enhancement.
- In addition, the potential candidate will proactively engage with the team members, vendors, and other internal teams in Visa, coordinating all the administrative work and taking lead in task related to our organization. The role will provide overall administrative and operational support to the team in VCA Andean, ensuring smooth operations of a fast-paced, results-driven team, the potential incumbent will also support in the logistics and operations of key Andean region.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
- Fluent verbal and written English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Bachelor's degree required from top tier school, ideally in quantitative field (e.g. engineering, mathematics, science) and/or business administration
- 5+ years of relevant experience in banks/financial services and/or management consulting firms, especially in payments business, including products & services, business systems and processes
- Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
- Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently
- Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills
- Strong Excel skills to update opportunity models, analyze transaction data and develop MIS reports
- Great interpersonal skills - team player
- Technology mindset, curious, up to date with digital trends and applications
