Job Description
Pismo is a next-gen banking and cards technology provider that was recently acquired by Visa. Pismo is now expanding its commercial team in Europe. We are seeking a senior sales professional to generate new business opportunities across Europe, selling a comprehensive portfolio of payments and banking technology solutions, with a strong focus on card processing and core banking. This specialist sales role requires a high degree of commercial acumen, business maturity, and self-motivation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with demonstrated success in revenue growth strategies, including pipeline conversion and reducing time to revenue.
This role is part of the larger Value-Added Services Sales function in Europe. The ideal candidate will have significant experience within the financial services industry and be able to understand and navigate the unique challenges brought forward by these clients.
Internally, the role requires collaboration with a wide range of cross-functional teams, including Generalist Sellers, Sales colleagues in the VAS team, Sales Operations, Product, Strategy, Client Services, Digital Partners, and Marketing. Moderate to extensive travel is required for attendance of client meetings, conferences, and partner events.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) 10+ years of work experience with payments and/or core banking solutions Proven track record in driving new client acquisitions. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed booking and revenue targets. Experience deploying a sales methodology to accelerate deal closure through a value-based selling approach. Demonstrated ability to partner with peers & seniors in other functional areas and across global regional teams. Ability to work independently within a complex and competitive environment and manage multiple initiatives. Strong financial acumen related to deal structures and value to execution to the partner ecosystem. Experience managing multiple internal stakeholders to deliver commercial goals. Ability to drive a collaborative culture with key cross-functional stakeholders. High level of problem-solving and project management skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to travel when required (up to 25% of the time)
