Job Description
The Implementation Analyst manages end-to-end deployment of Visa Acceptance Solutions products—either new solutions for clients or enhancements to existing setups. This role requires strong technical understanding of Visa products and the ability to adapt them to varied client infrastructures. You will own projects from initial scope definition through planning, execution, testing, production rollout, post-launch support, and final project closure.

Job Description
The Implementation Analyst manages end-to-end deployment of Visa Acceptance Solutions products—either new solutions for clients or enhancements to existing setups. This role requires strong technical understanding of Visa products and the ability to adapt them to varied client infrastructures. You will own projects from initial scope definition through planning, execution, testing, production rollout, post-launch support, and final project closure.
- Deliver low to medium complexity implementation projects for EU-based clients, ensuring scope and expectations are met.
- Work directly with clients to understand and confirm technical and program requirements.
- Work with clients to design and implement technical acceptance solutions, harnessing our product capabilities, from the outset during pre-sales cycle to engage with clients on solution validation of product capability against the client business requirements
- Manage project plans, tasks, and timelines in alignment with Visa’s Global Implementation policies and KPIs.
- Coordinate with internal teams, SMEs, and external partners to meet project deliverables.
- Deliver product overviews, integration workshops and training sessions.
- Identify risks or delays early and work with teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Proactively look for process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assume full accountability for the successful delivery of the project.
- Maintain all project documentation, including plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and issue logs, in a timely manner.
- Ensure clear communications—dashboards, updates, and briefings—to stakeholders and management.
- Report project accomplishments and initiate lessons-learned activities to improve future delivery.
- Support occasional out-of-hours work for configuration changes or production validations.
Qualifications
- Strong bachelor’s degree in business, technology or related fields - preferred
- Working experience (within business consulting, financial industries, payments, or the technology / operations teams in other organisations)
- Good understanding of technology systems, project management, IT infrastructure, and applications.
- An understanding of the payment’s ecosystem is highly desirable.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Additional European languages are a plus but not required.
- Proficient with MS Office tools (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
- Good time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of how technical elements influence business scenarios.
- Good time management, organizational, analytical, and planning skills, and knowling when to seek support and guidance
- Understanding of electronic funds transfer as it pertains to merchants, and partners is preferred.
- Engineering or architecture background focused on Web technologies, APIs, and machine-to-machine communication over the Internet – SDK exposure is a plus
- Experience in client relationship management is highly desirable.
- Self-starter with ability to prioritize, multitask, and seek support when needed.
- Good project management skills; certifications preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to provide consultative web development support to external clients.
- Background in business consulting engaged on client projects will be a plus.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and applications, and how they can be leveraged to create value for Visa and its clients
- Understanding of rules, regulations and policies that govern businesses and industry and ideally how they impact/ influence the payments ecosystem
- Foundational web development skills, particularly in front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and PHP for basic server-side functionality
- Experience of API integration and testing tools, POSTMAN etc
- Understanding of mobile payments technology, including NFC, secure elements, IOS, HCE contactless payments, online/remote payments, and in app payments
- Knowledge of how other functions integrate with Implementation teams, within payment schemes, financial industries or other organisations
- Some insight into payments processing like client connectivity, authorization, clearing and settlement, message formats and APIs
- Awareness of the full breadth of systems, products and services offered by Visa
