Based in Frankfurt and reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications Central Europe, you will turn strategy into actions that strengthen Visa’s reputation, support commercial priorities, build employee pride and deliver measurable impact.

Join our European Corporate Communications team as Senior Manager, Corporate Communications for Germany. Based in Frankfurt and reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications Central Europe, you will turn strategy into actions that strengthen Visa’s reputation, support commercial priorities, build employee pride and deliver measurable impact.
In This Role, You Will
- Develop and execute multichannel, story‑led communications programmes aligned to Visa’s business objectives; build executive visibility programs for the regional leadership team.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with business, tech and lifestyle media, proactively driving media outreach and manage reactive enquiries.
- Create compelling content across formats, including press releases, statements, blogs, briefing documents, video, infographics and social media.
- Partner with the European Communications hub to shape narratives, localize global and regional initiatives, and align cross-functional campaigns with Sales, Product, Marketing, Government Affairs, and external partners to maximize impact.
- Deliver employee communications that build pride and alignment across regional teams.
- Support complex issues and crisis communications response as part of the European team.
- Coordinate day-to-day work with agency partners, ensuring high-quality delivery, pace, and budget discipline; drive smarter ways of working through the adoption of AI.
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
- Experience in senior-level corporate communications, with strong expertise in media relations and digital and social communications.
- A strong track record of developing integrated, proactive communications campaigns that drive reputation and business impact across earned, owned, and social channels.
- Outstanding writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, underpinned by strong editorial judgment, PR instincts, and the ability to create engaging, platform-native content.
- A creative, positive, and collaborative approach, with the confidence to take ownership and the drive to turn ideas into high-quality execution.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on delivery and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders across a complex, matrixed, international organization.
- Strong German and English language skills, both written and verbal, and a degree or equivalent qualification in communications, PR, or a related field.
- Professional integrity, discretion, and intellectual curiosity, with an interest in emerging technologies. Experience in financial services or payments is an advantage.
