Job Description
In your role as Solutions Manager, you will help us achieve our goals and deliver success on behalf of our customers by:
- Building strong relationships and acting in a lead role between our internal technical and commercial teams and our customers to ensure the best solutions are scoped and designed for our customers.
- Driving opportunities through until internal handover, managing expectations and timescales well and using negotiation sills and stakeholder management to overcome varied challenges to ensure all opportunities stay on track.
- This role is primarily allocated to a large financial institution client that operates in Spain and Latin America.
Meetings, Demos and RFPs
- Able to run all tasks needed in the preparation, execution and follow-up of customer workshops.
- Leads complex customer meetings on niche use cases and requirements.
- Checks that customer objectives align with the meeting.
- Reviews other team members' RFP answers
- Actively anticipates customer requirements, uses this insight to route customers to specific appropriate, easy to deliver product features.
- Is able to confidently scope Enterprise projects while controlling for risky scope, as well as create high quality estimate requests and SoWs, as well as conduct review of other team members’ work
- Is able to independently scope custom models, with reference to internal resources only for the most unusual issues
- Advocates for the customer when appropriate and raise gaps in requirements or expectations to the Project Manager, Product and/or Engineering.
- Leads and confidently demos all aspects and features of the product, including features for niche product use cases and analytics.
- Anticipates common customer queries and concerns, and addresses these before they are asked.
- Able to configure schema modifications, demonstrate API using event generator or postman etc, as well as configure complex functionality
- Applies deep understanding of the industry, use cases and feature knowledge, proactively sharing information with team members to enable problem solving and remove project obstacles.
- Has a high degree of schema knowledge, and is able to support the customer in mapping common and key fields.
- Has excellent knowledge of ARIC architecture and how this supports product features and integrations.
- Has in-depth knowledge of ARIC analytics options, and is able to create complex AMDL when needed.
- Able to raise well-formulated product requests with actionable routes to implementing.
- Acts as a point of contact for other teams in PS&S.
- Recognized expertise in own area within PS&S.
- Builds and encourages communities of practice to maintain quality and alignment.
- Is capable of influencing decision-making processes and persuading stakeholders to adopt best practices or alternative solutions when necessary. This involves presenting compelling arguments, data-driven insights, and aligning strategies with organizational goals.
- Shares learning and enablement material within the team.
- Helps others to identify training needs.
- Coaches and develops team members, leading accreditation and feedback processes.
- Participates in larger-scale process improvement project within the broader PS&S department.
- Develops and implements comprehensive process improvement initiatives within the team.
- Mentors junior team members in process improvement methodologies.
- Creates new team collateral, standardising content and proactively sharing with the team.
- Participates in technical round panels, providing fair and unbiased feedback as well as being a strong representative for the team and company.
- Identifies improvement opportunities in the recruitment and onboarding processes.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience:
- Experience working alongside a commercial or technical team; or experience working client side either at a bank or insurance company.
- Strong academic background (Technology or Scientific degree).
- Excellent written and verbal communication as well as good presentation skills.
- Fluent Spanish speaking skills.
- Proficient English language skills are required.
- Knowledge in fraud and financial crime domain and detection strategies.
- Understanding of analytical techniques including statistical modelling and Machine Learning.
- Technical awareness as part of software sales discussions e.g. operating systems (Linux), cloud computing (Azure, AWS), data types (CSV, XML, JSON) and database technologies & storage.
- Strong ability to engage with different roles in the internal business such as sales, accounts, technical, SME’s.
- Prioritizing high and changeable workloads towards ensuring internal and external deadlines are met.
