Job Description

The Business Analyst will be a member of the Card Present Connect Acceptance Team that is responsible for the delivery of the best in-person payment experience for Visa. This role will report to the Director of In Person Acceptance for Card Present Connect. The individual will provide Business Operations support to the Card Present extended team.

Essential Functions

  • Contribute to the growth, profitability, performance, and operation of the Card Present organization, one of Visa’s team driving innovation into the market in the acceptance space.
  • Partner with Product and Program Managers to support Commercialization activities, support the team on tracking action items, documenting minutes, and maintain roadmaps and presentations.
  • Support the team with required management reporting activities.
  • Maintain SharePoint site with relevant information to the team.
  • Partner with stakeholders to help drive key initiatives within the organization.
  • Manage and maintain monthly reports.
  • Provide backup support to Product Managers as needed.
  • Manage the refresh key documentation, case studies, sales presentations, and other related marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate meetings with Product Management and Technology as required.
  • Contribute to the ongoing product roadmap and enhancement planning discussions.
  • Manage small projects of minimal complexity.
  • Manage day to day issues with all impacted stakeholders.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing as needed.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

  • Experience in operations management, or project management, preferably with a major financial institution, a global consulting firm, payment card network, or technology leader.
  • Strong customer-oriented mind set to support business operations, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Expert skills with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau and SharePoint are a must.
  • Knowledge of the Payments industry highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage projects and processes with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills are required. The candidate must be able to manage projects in collaboration with product owners who will be responsible for the core strategies.
  • Highly organized with excellent multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple disparate projects in parallel.
  • Ability to work and collaborate with all levels of management to ensure Card Present Team success.
  • Enjoys and environment of investigation, fact finding and validation.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex information effectively.
  • Individual to oversee and understand the end-to-end process and predict outcome.
