Job Description
Role Summary
The Consultant-Portfolio Delivery & Integration role sits within Visa’s Operational Resilience Strategy, Innovation & Design (SID) organization and is responsible for coordinating and driving day-to-day delivery integration across a defined portfolio of Operational Resilience initiatives.
Acting as the link between strategic direction and execution, this role ensures that agreed priorities progress in a coordinated, predictable, and defensible manner. The Consultant drives portfolio level coordination and follow-through, actively managing dependencies, identifying risks and issues early, and ensuring leadership has clear visibility of progress, blockers and decision needs.
The role is also responsible for establishing and maintaining a portfolio level tracking and reporting approach aligned to SID OKRs, enabling consistent measurement of progress against outcomes and supporting a clear and traceable link between strategic objectives and delivery activity.
Working with a high degree of independence, the Consultant manages coordination, escalation, and reporting across multiple initiatives and stakeholders to support consistent and well‑governed delivery. Strategic direction, prioritization decisions, and final delivery accountability remain with SID leadership.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or
At least 2 years of relevant work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA, JD).
6 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or
4 or more years of relevant work experience with an Advanced Degree.
Experience working in regulated, risk, or technology‑enabled environments.
Exposure to Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Crisis Management, or related risk disciplines.
Experience designing or operating portfolio‑level tracking and reporting approaches aligned to objectives or OKRs.
Technical & Tooling Skills
Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create clear, well‑structured documents, trackers, and leadership‑ready presentations.
Advanced Excel skills to support portfolio tracking, dependency management, and progress reporting.
Strong PowerPoint capability to produce polished materials for leadership updates, governance forums, and steering discussions.
Experience with, or familiarity using, Jira and/or Jira Align to track initiatives, dependencies, and delivery progress across portfolios.
Additional Qualifications - Generative AI, Automation & Analytics (Preferred)
Experience with AI / ML or Generative AI–enabled technologies to enhance productivity, analysis, reporting, or decision support within operational, risk, or resilience-focused environments.
Practical experience applying AI-enabled tools to support data synthesis, executive reporting, scenario analysis, workflow acceleration, or reduction of manual effort.
Familiarity with AI-assisted automation, analytics, or data-quality techniques that improve consistency, scalability, or insight across programs or portfolios.
Working knowledge of responsible and compliant AI use, including appropriate data handling, validation of outputs, and application of human judgment.
Experience with industry‑standard Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, or Crisis Management platforms, including Fusion Risk Management, Everbridge, and Veoci.
Experience leveraging data, workflows, or reporting from resilience platforms to support coordinated response, governance, delivery tracking, or executive communication.
Comfort working in technology‑enabled resilience environments where data quality, integration, and repeatable processes are critical to operational effectiveness and defensibility.

Key Responsibilities
Portfolio-Level Delivery Ownership
- Drive day-to-day delivery coordination across assigned Operational Resilience initiatives, ensuring alignment to agreed priorities, capacity, and sequencing.
- Translate strategic intent and SID OKRs into clear delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and measures of progress.
- Maintain an accurate view of portfolio status, including progress, risks, trade-offs, and delivery confidence.
- Challenge gaps, misalignment, and inconsistent delivery inputs to support a clear and decision-ready portfolio view.
- Identify, track, and manage cross-initiative dependencies, including people, data, platforms, approvals, and governance touchpoints.
- Keep delivery plans and portfolio reporting aligned as priorities, scope, or external conditions change.
- Identify risks and issues early, maintain accurate records, and drive resolution or escalation at the appropriate level.
- Act as the first point of coordination for delivery-level issues, risks, and conflicts across the portfolio.
- Proactively surface concerns and prepare clear structured escalation inputs, including impacts, options, and recommended paths forward.
- Exercise sound judgment in determining when issues can be resolved through coordination versus when escalation to leadership is needed.
- Establish and maintain a portfolio‑level tracking and reporting approach aligned to SID OKRs, ensuring progress against agreed objectives and outcomes is visible and traceable.
- Own and maintain core portfolio artefacts (e.g. dashboards, delivery trackers, dependency logs, RAID summaries) as the single source of truth.
- Produce clear, concise, decision‑ready materials for leadership updates, governance forums, and internal reviews, highlighting key changes, risks, and decision needs without overstating conclusions.
- Ensure agreed intake, prioritization, and governance processes are consistently applied and refined based on lived experience.
- Reduce reliance on ad‑hoc or informal tracking by strengthening repeatable delivery patterns and portfolio management practices.
- Serve as a central coordination point across business, technology, and governance stakeholders involved in the Operational Resilience portfolio.
- Ensure communications are timely, clear, and action-oriented, supporting informed decision-making and effective follow through.
- Represent an integrated view of the portfolio in working‑level forums and prepare inputs for leadership engagement as required.
