What’s it all about?

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, a global team of payments industry experts with decades of experience from within the payments industry, offering consulting services within key payments consulting areas, primarily Portfolio Optimization, Digital Transformation, Portfolio Migration, Data Science, Risk, Acquiring & Commercial consulting.

The VCA EU Hub team is looking for an individual to join our team to play a pivotal role in the development & management of the VCA EU Practice Area (PA) strategy as per VCA market & client needs and to lead the VCA EU Practice Areas core objectives of asset industrialization, content development, knowledge management, thought leadership and solution & engagement innovation.

What Is Expected Of The Role

As the Senior Manager – PAs Lead, you will be reporting to the Head of Practice Areas, VCA EU and will be working closely with each of the individual VCA EU PA Leads & PA teams, being responsible for governing, orchestrating & delivering the VCA EU PA strategy, to include the development of VCA assets & their respective content platforms, innovation, industrialization, thought leadership, internal & external communications and people development, sharing content across VCA Europe as well as stakeholder functions and VCA global.

Our dynamic team is looking for a highly efficient, solution-oriented & self-driven individual, highly skilled in influencing without authority, with the ability to persuade, motivate, and secure cooperation from people & functions such as peers, senior leaders or cross-functional stakeholders to deliver upon the VCA EU Practice Areas strategy. The successful individual will need to establish strong credibility by understanding others' goals & OKRs and using reciprocity to create mutual value, turning potential roadblocks into partners. With a passion & ability to manage multi functions to develop knowledge, content and assets. The candidate should be someone with strong written and verbal communication skills, practice and program management experience with a big-picture mindset married to an ability to break it down into key initiatives & deliverables.

Core Responsibilities

Be a champion for work delivered by the Practice Area teams primarily across Europe, but also globally by developing compelling content and assets to increase efficiency and scalability of our team’s knowledge, our thought-leadership and our perspective on payments industry capabilities and trends.

Help to identify channels and platforms to share our work and impact (internal and external) – e.g., articles, video content, newsletters, event presentations, Visa portals for internal team updates, etc.

  • Own the evolution of EU Practice Areas, Service Lines, and Engagement Types in alignment with FY26–FY27 priorities and long-term (2030) strategy
  • Lead the strategy, maturation, and industrialization of VCA EU Practice Areas to improve scalability, delivery efficiency, and measurable business impact
  • Continue to standardize and industrialize our service offerings to scale project delivery
  • Oversee knowledge management across VCA EU by curating, maintaining, and optimizing content within the Vault, Teams asset hubs, and global platforms
  • Ensure leverage / recycling of clusters assets in support of solution industrialization (model, best practice, methodology)
  • Lead reoccurring, regular forums across Practice Area Leads (monthly meetings, annual onsites) to provide strategic direction, continued momentum and regular updates on PA maturity, industrialisation and AI enablement initiatives
  • Drive internal and external communications for Practice Areas, including newsletters, thought leadership, and coordinated agency-led content initiatives
  • Champion EU contribution to global platforms (Vault, KX, VCA Gen AI Hub), ensuring asset sharing, adoption tracking, and KPI reporting
  • Lead EU knowledge and change management in the global AI initiative of PQL by coordinating SMEs, testers, and knowledge bases to support global agent development and rollout
  • Partner closely with EU Data Solutions team, aligning stakeholders on solution prioritization, development and go to market rollout across the region & clusters
  • Responsible for quarterly Steerco sessions and provide regular (monthly) management updates on industrialization progress and status of maturity and
  • Leading the building & management of a catalogue of all standardized VCA EU service offerings linked to the PA’s platform channels with the respective content and material on MS Teams home pages as well as the service catalogue
  • Export EU-specific set-plays & material to support other regions to be shared on KX and support Global solutions roll-outs
  • Continue to drive knowledge management and knowledge sharing culture by improving and maintaining content on MS Teams asset-ups as main platform and improve team interaction and effectiveness of VCA EU internal communications
  • Drive internal communication about the PA’s progress and output and work with agency partners to develop compelling content such improve effectiveness of our communication channels (homepages, posts, lunch & learns etc.)
  • Lead efforts for the team to share assets on the Global functional platform and report KPI fulfilment
  • Lead training facilitation through Lunch & Learns as per Practice Area developments topics and amplify the right messages throughout the VCA team and beyond

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

What we'd like from you -

  • Experienced in Stakeholder management, Leadership across borders and multicultural environment with ability to motivate and mobilize several teams
  • Ability to work on white space developments, solid in Program & Practice management, experienced in Business planning and Process developments
  • Proven ability as a communicator and program leader across various formats in a previous role
  • Program management and content/ knowledge management experience, with the ability to demonstrate managing a complex program/ project with multiple stakeholders
  • Comfortable with taking initiative and making independent decisions around aspects of your role to ensure efficiency and delivery of work (e.g., you are comfortable taking ownership of your role)
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Apps and experienced in business intelligence tools, especially working with MS Teams & SharePoint
  • Experience developing a point of view or perspective on future trends and topics, or any other experience working in a thought-leadership capacity, is a plus
