Job Description

Team Summary

The team is responsible for driving and maximizing sales performance of Visa’s Value-Added Services (VAS) across the CISSEE sub-region. Their core mission is to accelerate client adoption of the VAS portfolio, ensuring clients integrate and actively use multiple capabilities to unlock growth. They manage the entire sales pipeline end-to-end, creating and executing targeted go-to-market strategies, embedding VAS solutions into proposals and contracts, and leveraging stand-alone deal strategies to penetrate new accounts and expand existing ones. Ultimately, the team identifies, qualifies, and closes high-value opportunities to capture incremental revenue and fuel sub-regional growth.

The role is based in Kiyv and reports to the SVP, Head of VAS CEMEA and the SVP, Group Country Manager, CISSEE.

The Specialized Sales and Sales Engineering teams (both Issuing and Acceptance), along with the VAS product teams in the respective markets, will have a dual reporting line to this role.

What a VP, Head of Value Added Services, CISSEE does at Visa:

Sales Leadership & Performance

  • Drive and maximize VAS sales performance across the CISSEE sub-region, accelerating client adoption and integration of multiple capabilities.
  • Lead and develop the sales team, ensuring high performance, resource deployment, and strong product knowledge. Recruit, train and develop sales talent for the future.
  • Manage the full sales pipeline, from prospecting to closing, embedding VAS solutions into proposals and contracts.
  • Identify and close high-value opportunities to penetrate new accounts, expand existing ones, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Implement sales initiatives, monitor forecasts and pipeline, and ensure client retention and revenue realization.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution

  • Create and execute targeted go-to-market and client engagement plans for tiered clients.
  • Establish effective sales processes and align client goals, timelines, and executive engagement for successful delivery.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with regional and global teams (Product, GTM, Sales Enablement, Marketing, Legal, Client Delivery) to ensure strategy alignment and smooth implementation.
  • Maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships and leverage client feedback to inform product evolution.

Why this is important to Visa

This role is strategically important for the cluster because CISSEE spans multiple markets with differing levels of payments maturity, client capability and solution adoption, making scaled execution inherently complex. This role provides the commercial and executional spine for the cluster—driving consistent go‑to‑market discipline, prioritising the right VAS plays by market, and ensuring solutions are embedded into client strategies rather than sold transactionally. By connecting regional VAS strategy with on‑the‑ground client realities and working in lockstep with the Group Country Manager, the role enables CISSEE to shift from core payments dependency to solution‑led growth, strengthen client partnerships across diverse markets, and build a repeatable model that can scale despite regulatory, economic, and operational variation across the cluster.

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • 15+ years of relevant business experience, including significant sales and client management expertise.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales within financial institutions, with ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow internal teams and external partnerships, fostering strong cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in developing new business agreements and partnerships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, consistently delivering high levels of achievement.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with capability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to as required.
