Visa Direct is a global push payments platform that enables fast, secure fund transfers to cards, accounts, and wallets worldwide. It supports high growth use cases including person to person payments, gig‑economy and merchant payouts, insurance disbursements, and merchant settlements, within a global push payments market estimated to exceed 80 trillion in annual payment volume.
The Director, North America CMS Visa Direct Solutions Management is a senior leadership role within the North America Visa Direct Product and Client Solutions team, responsible for designing, delivering, and scaling bespoke ecosystem and product solutions for Visa Direct clients and partners. These include acquiring bank sponsors, acquirer processors, corporate treasury management banks, merchants, remitters, and strategic fintech partners.
This role serves as a strategic and technical advisor to Visa Direct clients and internal stakeholders, accelerating client integrations, supporting product platform enhancements, driving ecosystem readiness, and enabling the successful deployment of domestic and cross‑border Visa Direct use cases across North America.
Positioned at the intersection of product strategy, technology, ecosystem enablement, and client success, this role plays a critical part in advancing Visa Direct’s growth in one of Visa’s most strategic regions. The Director will shape how Visa Direct solutions are designed, integrated, and scaled, delivering measurable impact across financial institutions, fintech's, merchants, and consumers.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

The estimated salary range for this position is $192,300.00 to $ 307,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

- Develop deep expertise in the Visa Direct ecosystem, including acquirer processors, bank sponsors, treasury management banks, merchants, remitters, and fintech partners.
- Act as a strategic and technical advisor to clients throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle, translating business needs into scalable Visa Direct solutions.
- Provide technical leadership to accelerate solution design, client integrations, and adoption of new platform capabilities.
- Analyze complex client requirements and recommend best fit solution architectures, identifying gaps and opportunities to deliver best‑in‑class money movement solutions.
- Design and deliver bespoke client solutions that drive incremental revenue and business growth.
- Lead client workshops to understand requirements, share product roadmaps, co‑design solutions, and align on scope, timelines, and implementation plans.
- Partner with internal teams (account executives, product, technology, and client services) to deliver and scale agreed‑upon solutions.
- Build expertise in Visa Direct APIs (Card, Account, Wallet) and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Develop expertise in Visa Direct platform functionality across Card, Account & wallet and its integration with adjacent platforms, including Currency Cloud, Yellow Pepper, B2B Connect, etc.
- Leverage VisaNet data to identify opportunities to expand Visa Direct acceptance across Debit, Credit, and Prepaid card types.
- Maintain ownership of client integration strategies, including project plans, timelines, and delivery oversight.
- Translate client and market needs into clear business requirements, partnering with product and engineering teams to drive platform enhancements.
- Develop subject matter expertise across platform capabilities, market nuances, pricing economics, etc.
- Develop and promote expertise in value added services, positioning them to enhance client solutions and adoption.
- Ensure custom solutions are built for scalability, reuse, and long‑term growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, product, technology, client services & other teams to drive best in class client solutions and product offerings.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, and develop materials for client engagements and internal approvals.

Basic Qualifications
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
- 8 plus years of experience in software or technology, with hands-on exposure to systems analysis and solution design.
- Strong understanding of the payments industry ecosystem, including issuers, acquirers, processors, fintechs, and merchants.
- Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and engage in both business-level and technical solutioning discussions.
- Prior experience as a Solutions Architect or Business Systems Architect preferred.
- Experience working with fintechs, banks, and payment processors.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, and familiarity with ISO 8583 and ISO 20022 messaging standards.
- Knowledge of AML, payments risk, fraud, and sanctions screening solutions is desirable.
- Demonstrated product management skills, including launching products, features, or platform enhancements.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and data driven decision-making skills with a focus on measurable outcomes.
- Ability to deep dive into technical details while maintaining a strategic, client-centric perspective.
- Demonstrated thought leadership with evidence of innovation leading to tangible business impact.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in complex, ambiguous environments.
