Job Description
The Senior Product Manager, Flex & Installments Strategy will support the definition, execution, and scaling of Visa’s Flex and Installments strategy and high‑growth initiatives, reporting directly to the Senior Director, Product Strategy & High Growth Initiatives.
This role is strategy‑led and execution‑oriented, focused on accelerating Flex & Installments as a strategic growth platform by improving prioritization, roadmap clarity, and decision‑making across products, regions, and initiatives.
The Senior Product Manager will operate at the intersection of product strategy, analytics, and cross‑functional alignment, translating market insight, performance data, and ecosystem complexity into clear priorities, scorecards, and recommendations that support acceleration plans and measurable growth outcomes.
This role is also expected to leverage AI‑enabled tools and agent-based workflows to improve the speed, quality, and clarity of strategic insights, planning cycles, and executive reporting. The role will work closely with Product, Solution Enablement, GTM, Finance, Regions, Risk, Rules, and other key stakeholders.
This is a global role, requiring strong judgment to balance regional opportunities with cohesive global direction.
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD Product strategy or strategy consulting experience in payments, fintech, commerce technology, or related technical domains. Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including tokenization, checkout flows, BNPL/Installments, network processing, and the four‑party model. Proven track record of original strategic thinking, including development of competitive positioning, customer segmentation models, and market entry strategies; not just synthesis of existing analysis. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience distilling complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives and developing executive‑level materials for C‑suite and senior stakeholders. Self‑starter with a customer‑first mindset, strong problem‑solving ability, and product judgment; able to create structure in ambiguous environments, break down complex problem spaces, and produce decision‑ready outputs with limited direction. Demonstrated technical aptitude, including comfort reading technical documentation and understanding APIs, data flows, and system interactions Proven ability to translate complex business needs, market insights, and technical constraints into clear, actionable strategy and product requirements. Strong analytical skills, with experience using data, metrics, dashboards, and structured frameworks to guide prioritization, growth decisions, and strategic trade‑offs. Experience leveraging AI‑enabled tools and agent‑based workflows to improve insight generation, planning, prioritization, and overall strategic output quality. Experience leading or supporting complex, cross‑functional initiatives and driving alignment in a highly matrixed, global environment.

The estimated salary range for this position is $169,100.00 to $ 270,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. - Lead and support market landscaping, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis to inform strategy, market entry decisions, and prioritization across regions or verticals.
- Help evaluate new use cases, regional requests, partnerships, and product initiatives by framing trade‑offs, dependencies, risks, and expected business impact.
- Support the design and evolution of pricing frameworks and price models in partnership with regional teams, balancing consistency with local market flexibility.
- Develop and maintain decision frameworks, scorecards, KPIs, and performance views to track progress against growth objectives and inform leadership decisions.
- Translate transaction data, adoption trends, market research, and customer feedback into clear strategic insights and recommendations.
- Leverage AI‑enabled tools and agent-based workflows to accelerate insight generation, planning, scenario analysis, and reporting.
- Prepare and support executive‑level materials (strategy updates, councils, SteerCos, QBRs), synthesizing performance, risks, and decision points.
- Operate effectively in a highly matrixed global environment, influencing without authority and driving alignment across teams and regions.
